How To Connect Wired 3.5mm Headphones To Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra

What a hole company to take away the 3.5mm plug . Are they just mental and you can't have your phone charging with headphones plugged in. I'm out..

My skullcandys arent compatible with my s23ultra. Even with the adapter. Upsetting man. Ive had these for 8 years and counting. Nothing has compared to these foe me. Now i have to try their usb c version.

Bro, I have a type c adapter that was from my old phone "Poco F3" it happens and it turns out that I connect it to my current phone "S23 Ultra" and I get that it does not recognize the device, could it be a problem with the adapter? I say yes

This is a bad solution.
You will kill the USB port a lot faster, especially if you want to keep it in your pocket. USB-C is too weak.
I hate Samsung for that.

It should also work for Jabra headsets with the 3.5 TRRS connector and you should be able to make phone and zoom calls via the headsets (Mic and earphones)

My S23 Ultra always says "Device not supported", "The connected USB isn't supported" on the notification. I have tried 3 types of 3.5mm head phones and using Ugreen brand type C to 3.5mm female port. Please help me fix my problem. Thank you.

Followed your tutorial - I plugged in the USB/headphones jack adapter into my S23+. Then I plugged in several wired headphones & the phone diplayed the same error each time that said "the connected usb device is not supported" Why won't it work for me? TYIA

That looks like an apple connector which when used, lower the volume to a point where I could barely hear anything. I then bought a logiix aux adaptor which gives me almost the same volume when playing music but does now not work with the phone when I'm on a call. I can hear the person but they cant hear me. Any help?

Tired of these companies forcing people to buy after market adapters to use a basic function. What happens when your wireless earbuds run out of juice? It is a simple port. Just add it and block it off with a waterproof stopper for those that do not need it. Problem solved.

I still have the 9 for this reason... and it has a memory card slot. Basically, they've taken a Samsung and turned it into an Apple by removing to features i always use. Not a happy customer.

It's an absolute hassle. Not even as flexible as the case was with the P30 Pro. Only a very limited number of adapters work. And not all of them even work properly. I like using "karaoke" apps to sing covers. And foolish me I thought the S23 Ultra was gonna be an upgrade.. Little did I know it's a downgrade. Even with the adapter the quality is close to trash.

So basically they made the biggest mistake ever. I might as well not even buy this trash.

All top smartphones are doing this, including the iPhone. Bluetooth drains battery so I rather use this adapter jack. I can fast charge my phone on the wireless charger

For a musician who uses their phone extensively for simultaneous wireless bluetooth playing, wired connection, recording video, and charging, the removal of the standard aux port is a huge downfall. It doesn't matter if people think it "outdated". It's lasted so long because of its reliability, functionality, and clear, almost infallible connection without having to interfere with, and compromise simultaneous charging, wifi usage, while streaming music, charging, and recording live with a studio mic, in stereo using that port for a quick set-up session. That aux port is not always about just "headphone" usage.

Which dongle did you use? My s23U won't recognize my earphones, through 2 different dongles (by Ugreen). I've tested with some other 3.5mm and I still get a message saying my USB device is not compatible.
