ОтветитьCongratulations on your China doll find!!!
ОтветитьGreat day trip. I wouldn't have been able to wait on the little cup either. 😁
ОтветитьThat was So much Fun!! Thanks for Sharing!!!
Ответитьyou can carve tiny arms and legs out of wood and then paint them white and attach them.
ОтветитьYou had a good day on the beach and had some nice finds including Kate's tiny doll and heads. Lovely nature shots at the start. Thank you for sharing
ОтветитьSome amazing finds well done regards Elaine Kayes Cumbria stay safe xx
ОтветитьNot sure about those yellow wellies but good finds 👍👍👌👌xx
ОтветитьThe little cup: Don't break it, be whole, don't break it, be whole. Well done Kate.
ОтветитьIt is so uncanny how you and your mom find so many of the same objects as the Northern Mudlarks do. They found a hat pin with the same look, a beautiful blue bead, very decorated doll legs, and a tiny baby (maggot baby) not exactly like your special doll but very exciting for them as yours was for you. I hope one day you find that perfect entire doll.
ОтветитьAwesome video! Go visit our channel and sub if you enjoy it
ОтветитьManganese, not magnesium, in glass formula + ultraviolet light= lavender color
ОтветитьI have melted lead with a wood burning art tool. I was wondering if you could take some of the shot lead balls you have found and make heads for all those headless toys. Just wondering. I am having a lot of fun and relaxing while watching your show. Susann
ОтветитьIt is a bottle. My Aunt would make corn leaf dolls and put them in a shadow box scene and mostly was Ozark style and needed old fire water jugs. I make over a dozen for her and others did the same. I put a handle on mine and the other person didn't. Her dolls made magazine covers in the doll world. Dorthy Thomson corn husk dolls. So yes that is a prop fire water jug. lol Susann
ОтветитьWho else can’t wait to see the art they make from these? 😍 (notice how I didn’t use the “c” word?)
ОтветитьOh congratulations on your fantastic find Kate! I was smiling away with you 😁 I love your little display box at the very end by the way. Any idea where I might find something similar?
Looking forward to your next video! 👋🏻
Wonderful video, I’m so glad Kate found her little doll head and body! The blue pressed glass handle came off of a sugar bowl on a stem with a lid. It’s by a company called Davidson and the design featured oak leaves and flowers, there’s a drawing of it in their design book for around 1880 -1890. The naturalistic twig design was very popular in different forms with all the Victorian pressed glass companies - definitely good for the C word!
ОтветитьHow did all the Victorian dolls end up at the foreshore? From factories that made them, or from children taking dolls to the water to play with them? I like to think you’re finding things children once loved and lost and giving them new homes
ОтветитьGreat fun and wonderful finds, congrats on your doll body, she is beautiful and tiny. Thanks.
ОтветитьPicking up the broken pieces of our past for us to enjoy in the present ❤
ОтветитьI had the speed set to 1.25 because of another video I was watching and wanted to speed up so when Kate started laughing at the little doll it was really creepy! I was like, wowk she really is excited.
ОтветитьWhen you craft the body with no legs you could have him standing in the mud. And just put a head on him😂
ОтветитьI wonder if people will be decorating their homes with old Pringle tubes in 100 years🤔😆
ОтветитьI love your garderobe Kate, beautiful blouse you're wearing. When I watch your videos I'm always curious what you're wearing.
Ответитьhave you watched the mudmen all about the thames mudlarking with j vaughn dated but good when its grumpy weather :-)

ОтветитьI have just come across your Chanel through Northern Mudlarks and I am loving it I'm currently binge watching your videos. The baby doll body with head that was just adorable.. the genuine excitement you had when finding it really brightened my day ten fold.
Keep doing what your doing you both make these videos so beautifully. I liked before even finishing watching.
I'm not sure if I missed it but did you specify where this beach was I'd love to rummage for some pottery bits and bobs. Looks amazing!!

ОтветитьRub a dub dub baby in a tub of bubbles
ОтветитьI love little "Teacup Tessa". I would love to have her cast in silver for a necklace. I would wear it all the time. She is so precious. I'm so happy you rescued her just in time before mother nature broke her down even further. Happy hunting and thanks so much for taking us on your larking adventures.
ОтветитьNow you have both Oscar and Kate!!!! Wow 👏. That is judt too cool and should be commemorated in a craft for your mom to cherish forever!! 😀
ОтветитьCould your doll house pot be a game piece, like a peg that fits in a board or something 🤔?
ОтветитьNice tea cup extraction Kate and some great finds ladies....
ОтветитьThe doll half face make a hat for her
ОтветитьHello I love watching your videos please continue what you do from Philippines
ОтветитьI loved this one. So much on the beach.
ОтветитьYou two are sooooo cute! The joy you get over finding things, please don’t ever stop. Bless you and yours
Ответитьhi there, so another lovely film, your finds are incredible. I love learning the history behind the finds. As a person 'stuck' in bed through long term illness, whatever pops up with adds etc. it does't worry me. I have my cat chillaxing on my lap, we call her nurse Enid, because she's trying to make me better. She purrs away to her hearts content and sometimes I don't know if it's Sunny Cat purring or Nurse Enid or both together. You bring me a great deal of happiness. thank you so much, xx
