Finally the poor get $15 dollars an hour..... Praise Jesus...
ОтветитьI think a four day work week is a good balance of life and work, I am not acting like we get anything for free and we don't have to work, but I think its a good balance and increases productivity.
ОтветитьA lot of companies are doing this and are finding out that is actually having a positive out put on it. And employees are happier and are working better with better progress.
ОтветитьI used to work 4 days 8 hours and 10 hours and have three days off and I can guarantee you it was the best because three days off is enough for a full recovery. If this goes through nationwide I would respect America a lot more for this massive improvement for people’s health.
ОтветитьSeriously whoever originally came up with the " For every 2 and a half days you work, you get a day off!" deal worked at least couple days in their lifetime. Having worked M-F for couple decades and change, I'm not sure when those two days have NOT been a blink of an eye.
ОтветитьHonestly 5 days is fine, I just want 5-6 hour workdays. I want sleep, and I want time to exercise, explore hobbies, making dinner, doing chores, and spending time with my wife watching shows.
ОтветитьYou Americans are funny and lazy
ОтветитьIt makes more sense. Balances out the week. I would even work 30-60 more minutes a day to have Friday off.
ОтветитьUmmm, yes please!
Sweden does this, and their crime rate went down, their productivity went up, and everyone was happy.
What politicians advocate for this? :3 Like what party?
I need to know which ones because I’m tired of this 40hours bullshit. No time for anything else, so tired all the fucking time. And also pay better. And boom! Shit I’ll work longer sometimes just cause I can. God, they really don’t give a fuck about people.
ОтветитьThis is always, floated out there and it’s the dumbest idea ever.
All these people that want the day off, but get paid.
So what about the things they want to do?
Public transportation? Four days a week
Restaurants coffee shops, or days a week.
Manufacturing, I think maybe three days a week is enough.
How about teachers, pay them the same and they just work four days a week.
Daycare? I think, just three days a week is enough.
Grocery stores, shopping only Monday to Thursday.
people that work in government.
Deliveries? Service people for your furnace? Monday to Thursday.
Shut down all those crazy big box stores for Friday Saturday Sunday…
Maybe the pesky crime and fires can be controlled Monday to Thursday.
If you can do your job in 3 to 4 days, it’s not really a job, It’s a hobby
Yes finally 4 days week hopefully it arrives soon 🙏
ОтветитьA 4-day, 10-hr workweek has been the standard in Nursing for a long time. That morphed into 3 12-hr shifts.
ОтветитьThis was not a Henry Ford idea but one fought hard for by unions.
Unions, NOT big business.
Would rather work 10 hours shifts in 4 days than 8 hours shift in 5 days.
ОтветитьI already only work 3 days a week 3 12s and I'm paid for 40. Sooo nice having 4 days a week off
ОтветитьI was just talking to my husband about 3 day work week.
ОтветитьI believe we should have a choice, some of us need to work 5 to 6 days a week.
ОтветитьAgreed, but I don’t think we should be working for 10-12 hours a day. I think we work too much in the US, and everything else takes a back seat.
ОтветитьThis is nothing new. When I was still in diapers, there were discussions and implementations of four-day work weeks. A lot was working 10 hours a day for four days, or 9 hours a day and getting every other Friday off. Maybe the reporter wasn't aware of this, because he/she was living under a rock, or Good Morning America couldn't announce the show won't be on Fridays anymore, because we're all working four-day workweeks. As far as less hours to work each week and achieving the same productivity, that will also work. Let's face it, we all aren't working nonstop for the hours we're on the clock. Plenty of slacking off.
ОтветитьIt's funny I've been mentioning this to my friends and coworkers like "Why aren't we working smarter and not harder?" and that we should reduce our work hours to 6 hours for 5 days a week or a 4-day work week but keep the same pay. I even did research to see who came up with the idea of a 40 hour workweek lol

What's going on in the Middle East? Why did the United Snakes of America waste our TAX DOLLARS on Over 700 Jet's to be Created by April of 2021?
Especially while there is a so called pandemic happening and there are still over 250,000 homeless Adults in America?
Again who's writing these Narratives?
Over 30 Major News Organizations Linked to George Soros ...
China is the largest source of carbon dioxide emissions, interesting has anyone in Beijing, China catch/caught this so called Virus, yet?
We've been asking this question since June of 2020.
BTW when was their first case reported?
It's a scary life to live when you know what's about to happen to you, especially once people start catching wind to WHO'S ALL INVOLVED.
So let's get this straight A society which kills millions of unborn babies a year for convenience, has shut itself down and is now preaching about the safety of adults?
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)
Carbon dioxide, or CO2, is a normal product of metabolism within the body’s cells. The blood carries this carbon dioxide waste to the lungs to be exhaled out of the system. When there is an elevated level of CO2 within the blood, complications occur. Doctors refer to this medical condition as hypercapnia, or hypercarbia. This can occur through health problems, environmental exposure to carbon dioxide or unsafe scuba diving practices or faulty diving equipment 1⭐

Shortness of Breath
Too much carbon dioxide within the blood causes the body’s pH level to plummet and become dangerously acidic, explains Auburn University at Montgomery School of Sciences. The higher the acidic quality, the more difficult it is for the blood’s hemoglobin to pick up oxygen. The result is rapid breathing in order to increase lowered oxygen levels and, eventually, difficulty in catching one’s breath.

A study revealed in a report by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) exposed 42 volunteers to inhalation of 7.6 and 10.4 percent of carbon dioxide within 2.5 to 10 minutes 1⭐

Increased Heart Rate
The human body reacts to carbon dioxide retention. As available oxygen lowers and carbon dioxide levels begin to rise, receptors within the body sense a problem and send messages to the heart to beat faster, according to Auburn University. This is an attempt to increase the amount of blood going to the lungs in hopes that CO2 is released and more oxygen inhaled.
Dizziness or Confusion.

Learn More
In the same study results revealed by the EPA, the other most common side affect from excessive carbon dioxide exposure was dizziness. Those who inhaled high concentrations in only one minute had initial dizziness and then experienced bouts of confusion and inability to focus or reason.
Seizures
If 30 percent or more of carbon dioxide is inhaled, the body begins to convulse within 1.5 minutes, states the EPA. By this time, the body is unable to get rid of the carbon dioxide and obtain oxygen fast enough on its own. The body’s receptors begin to lose control of body movement.
Unconsciousness or Coma
Humans exposed to high concentrations of carbon dioxide in a short time frame can experience catastrophic, lethal effects, according to the EPA. Instant exposure to 17 to 30 percent of CO2 after only one minute can result in unconsciousness and coma.
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
Respiratory Arrest
Medical conditions which cause weakening of the lungs can result in dangerously high levels of carbon dioxide. If the muscles are not strong enough to expand the lungs to sufficiently inhale, only a small amount of air and little to no carbon dioxide is exhaled. If untreated, this leads to lower and lower oxygen levels and eventually, cessation of breathing.
The Wrap Up
Carbon dioxide, or CO2, is a normal product of metabolism within the body’s cells. Doctors refer to this medical condition as hypercapnia, or hypercarbia. By eliminating travel to and from work by 20% per week per worker will reduce carbon emissions and result in more jobs. Win-win.
ОтветитьYeah 4 day work week, companies will start adding mandatory overtime days. This is also just a scheme so people can spend more money.
ОтветитьGood idea 😇🇺🇸🎅
ОтветитьAm onboard 👍🏾
ОтветитьAs long as my pay stays the same I'm down. Most of my team barely even works on Fridays.
Ответить4 day work week 12 hour days
ОтветитьThis also opens up time for a side job or focusing on our own dreams
ОтветитьYes, I am All for this!!!
ОтветитьThis should be applied to all matters of life - we overproduce for the sake of saying we /all/ work 40+ hours a week as the standard. Hoping this becomes a genuine conversation for all workplaces, schools, etc! Studies have LONG shown people waste 3,4 hours at work because we lose focus, we have to wait on updates from other team members, etc! Let’s just do this so we can get control of our lives! Happy to hear the convo growing popularity again
ОтветитьThe comments on this video show our country to be incredibly lazy. Between harvests and down to 70 hours this week from 100 looking at Americans crying about 40. Pathetic people.
ОтветитьI do this now and it is lovely. My 4 days aren’t worked in a row either. I have Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday off so I’m not working more than 2 days in row. I do work 10 hour shifts but having 3 days off is amazing. My mental health is better, I feel like I have time to run errands and still have a day to relax and lounge around. The 4 day work week should be the norm! 🙂
ОтветитьAmerica the snail, always last to find out that shit like this, is the best idea. Yet everyone believes 40hrs/week is how we make ends meet and retiring at 65 is good. Wow, enjoying the last 20 plus yrs of life is bullshit. Ppe should be able to retire at younger age WITH FULL RETIREMENT BENEFITS.
ОтветитьTitle alone...YES!!! All we need is 36 hours a week to get medical insurance. Make it happen!
ОтветитьSome people have been working six days a week for just about two years... Thank you your sacrifice will never be forgotten
ОтветитьEveryone is mentally checked out on a Friday anyway
ОтветитьMeans nothing to commission sales agent
ОтветитьI’ve been working a 4 day work week for 2-3 years I am never going back to 2 day
ОтветитьI have a 3 day work week, its amazing
ОтветитьI had a job with a 4 day work week it was 4 10 hour days, I loved it
ОтветитьGood, pretending to work on Fridays is exhausting in and of itself. I'd love to just not check my email and be totally OFF off.
ОтветитьIt won’t happen. The corporate world has their head up their …
ОтветитьThis why people are moving out California. No can afford to live there.
ОтветитьI said this for years. 3/12 , 4/10 mon-th and 4/10 tuesday friday. Also, start time should be differet times during those days. So schedules can over lap. Not only will ppl have more family time for trips and vacation but also decrease traffic. I do 3/12. And is the best schedule w 4 days off.
ОтветитьShould they officially consider Friday as part of a weekend like Saturday and Sunday sure yeah and Thursday can be the new Friday 😂
ОтветитьI live in Napa and have a salary of 64K a year, as a hotel manager. Also have a part-time job which I work four days a week as a host in a restaurant… Which is the only way I can afford a one bedroom apartment. California is just sad.. I wonder how It would affect salary positions!?
ОтветитьThis has been long over due but America is greedy. There has to be a life balance. For example most truck drivers who delivers goods all across the U.S. spend weeks (3) at a time out but may only receive 3-4 days minimum. Even for a person who works a office job still isn't truthfully home. Depending on the job type, you may work 50-60 hrs Monday-Friday. Some people work 6 days a week. I just know as a professional truck driver myself, I spend mostly 4-5 weeks out. If I didn't own my own, I would be a lot worse than some company drivers. I usually take every weekend I miss and pill them up into 7 days at home uninterrupted. It's been long over due but I just know America and her greed. Theirs more that needs to change but this is a start!
