I listen to this when it was new and here I am again, what does that tell you?

Done surpassed all of my goals. Now, I'm completely lost. I've worked 6 days a week for 2 years now. & it's all for what? I have a childhood friend, and he's 48 yrs old, that's never had a job his entire life and he's happier than I am.

If you don't have goals adopt the goals society prescribes you. Sometimes all you need is a job and a marriage to be happy. Hobbies and friends help, just touch some grass.

He says quite useful things about parenting and life in general, that should've been heard by my parents before they had children. But now, I'm the latest generation of a messed up family. And because of that, I'm not sure if should have kids, even if someone wants to have kids with me.

I am 31. Never worked. I've fallen extremely ill and lost my entire 20s, family, dreams, education, and friends.
I've been rehab and got clean from drink. I'm now all alone and after 10+ years I have now got to the point of wanting to learn to drive. Next I want to get a job helping young teens not make my mistakes. I can't help my illness.....but I let that rule me and time passed me by. I couldn't have done alot, but I could have done something. I'll do it now. Something in me snapped. I hope it does to you too. I don't need a job that pays me lots. I need a job that makes me happy to be out of this bed.

You are spoons wrong. There are 613 laws in the old testament both good positive commandments and bad negative commandments. And the new testament is man made not gd made which is just part of it false nature.

Sometimes you break down in an old dirt town on your way to the big city and your life begins. Don’t be afraid to say yes to things that weren’t in your plans.. life is had along the way.

so if you don't have a goal, fix things around you every day so you might develop the tiniest bit of discipline and do this untill you find a goal.....

but what if you can't find a goal regardless? That's bascically what he's asking. he already did your test, he knows your lectures and the 12 rules book, he's in the audience not without reason. he's asking if there are alternatives to having a goal bascically....

What is the point of doing anything in life when you cannot do the one thing humans are born to do.. procreate?
As someone who cant father children, i dont see a point in having goals or doing anything in life barring existing for the sake of existing.
Everytime i look for a reason its always involves giving struggling kids advice.. not 30+ year olds whove already lived life and seen everything bad it has in store for you.

What do you do when you've already completed all the goals you wanted to accomplish? I've done everything I've wanted to do, a lot of thing I didn't but still have 40+ years if I live to an average age. Is life just too long and boring? C'est la vie.

I had Goals and tried and tried. THAT was a waste of my Time. Now i just enjoy.

I have no dreams or aspirations, i dont dream of having a career because i have no interest in anything particular to work for, i also dont dream of having family cuz i hate kids and i'm not very found of modern men. If i have to imagine a dream life it would prob me not having to do any work, and live alone on a mansion, maybe with some pets in the max. I dont wanna be a superstar nor a important someone. Just life a peaceful comfort life i guess. I guess the only way i could realize this is by winning the lottery. What is pretty much impossible.

I have no goals but to undercut the tyrant at every turn. Yea, you’re on my mind, and so are the subjects you wish I wouldn’t have. Now my whole life is defined by this issue because you contextualized my life relative to this. All you’re doing is making me spiteful and bitter. Fuck goals.

When you fix broken things, you acquire a momentum forwards of fixing broken things. This acceleration of betterment will make you want to do more. This desire to do more may make you fill your plate with more, a recipe for chaos. How and where do you stop and draw the line. And say you are now satisfied with all the fixed things and that the rest can stay broken?
