The thing is, you cant compare the relationship with a human to that of a pet.

I will have experienced 1.5% of my kids life as they were babies, but it matters, its strong, and its relevant.
There are also relationships i have had that only were a year long, or less, and they will mattered. Those relationships still mattered. I may not feel the love it did, but thats also a contrast. If Omni man loved his wife until her final breathe, than when his wife died he never truly stopped loving.

A better example would have been those people who were with their spouses until they died, then they remarried.
They never stopped loving their previous spouse, but did have enough love to build a relationship with their new one.

You cant take away a relationship with humanoid beings, because they are different than any other animal on the planet.

No matter what percentage omni man had his wife for, i think it would still play a significant amount of time.

And we also cant equats it to 1.5 years based on percent, thats not fair.

60 years is a long time to know someome and be through everything together.

Living for thousands of years is a long time, but dont sell how short 60 years is with someone you love.
Boiling it down to percents isnt a fair fight.

The amount of lore and history that are apart of many comic franchises paired with the amount of artistic analysis one can do with their unique combinations of art and writing, i think its ripe for your types of theories.
