yes that is a possibility.. also there is a metal part below the ST506 or ST412 hard disk which may cause noise - you can bend it a bit; some disks are louder than others but at my experience (I had more than 50 profiles in my hands so far) the loudness of a profile does not tell anything about its reliability

it is technically not possible to put a widget into a profile case - widget is too big.
