What are your picks for "the Best Secondary Weapon?"

Yep, the usual suspects when it comes to sidearms! I used the auto revolver up until i go the Peacekeeper! 10k+ kills later and Peacekeeper is my main now lol. It helps that i prefer a close quarters recon style of play.. So Peacekeeper, Melee, and Explosive Tripwires are my top three most kills weapons.

Even though it may not be the best and i might not be crazy good with it the peacekeeper is still by far my favorite weapon in this game and it was a fitting end to my service star with every gun challenge

Awesome video, I def agree with you in many ways, I just never really use my secondaries so I just use random ones lol. I just have a massive habit for reloading my primary after every single time I fire it, so I never find myself needing my secondary.

If im being honest, thinking back (past 3 days) it wasn’t that “hard” to unlock the peacekeeper it. With all the tools made by the community it’s just kinda boring. It’s an amazing gun and it made it worth the slog but I think to much people get turned off without knowing the full payoff

i want the peacekeeper i have the time to get it but i also have ADHD so its basically impossible for me to figure it all out i dont even know where to start i dont know morse code i dont have the mental capacity for it or anything like that which is really saddening to me because i know i would love it

The fact that they never added a Swing Out cylinder Revolver makes me SO MAD .This game feels incomplete without it .

The idea of having to do the Peacekeeper easter eggs all over is what is keeping me from buying the game again .

My favorte sidearms in no particular order are probably the No.3 revolver, Mars Automatic, PO8, Auto Revolver, and the m1911

Every spam pistol is the most lethal for every class, because of the insane fire rate and reload, since most times you need a pistol you'll be close range anyways.

However the best gun that can be used with all classes is the C93. Great accuracy ADS, firerate, reload speed, damage, tight hip fire spread. There are zero downsides to it.

Much like the Medic's top pick is their respective class revolver, the other classes tend to follow suit in a similar regard. If one prefers the peace of mind from a speed loader? The Revolver MkVI is the equivalent all-class option at the tradeoff of slightly worse TTK. If you can live with loading gate revolvers though?

Support's Bulldog has an extremely fast draw time of 400ms combined with an Annihilator TTK, very competitive in an up close 1v1 especially against Assault's. Scout's Bodeo has a very nice dmg drop off that lets it reliably two-tap up to 15m while retaining an Automatico TTK, arguably superior to the Mars Auto within 30m due to the stronger initial damage for CQC and finishing off wounded targets. Assault is the unique exception with a bunch of viable but interesting options to work with.

The Gasser M1870 is considered a pretty solid option, owing to its longest 2hk of all the secondaries up to 20m. Due to Assault's arsenal having a large focus on CQC? A backup sidearm for picking off targets further away with an empty primary makes this a solid option. On the other hand? The Nagant Revovler is an all-class Mars Auto turned into a loading gate revovler. This can pair pretty nicely with Assault's Slug Shotguns within 30m, hitting someone a distance away thus putting them low? You can switch to the Nagant faster than the Gasser, have lower recoil, faster muzzle velocity, and faster followup shots to finish off a wounded target. A nice option should one prefer accurate and faster hits further out.

One last option though? A rather overlooked one for good reasons, but nonetheless extremely potent in the right hands. The Howdah pistol is Assault's most potent up close backup pistol, with the same TTK as the Bulldog, its tenacity is only matched by those willing to also put up with its insane recoil and 4-shot capacity. It fits in a niche as a backup for Assault's low capacity primaries, should you run out in CQC and a reload isn't ideal? Switch to the Howdah and just start blasting.

It's rough that many of the sidearms have been left in the dust from the TTK rebalance though, with the only half-decent ones left being the 450rpm pocket spammers or the M1911. In an ideal world? All the 360rpm pistols would've copied the M1911's up close 3btk to be somewhat viable, then all the 300rpm pistols take the M1911 damage model but extend its drop offs a further 5m; M1911 can have 10m to account for its cartridge/recoil.

Then if most Pistol's drop offs started just 5m later? We'd probably have more impactful sidearms that would be viable against one another.

My favorite sidearm is the Belgian M1903, as a not-great player (around 1.0 K~D) it's easy to control with low recoil and decent damage. I also like the M1911.

The Mle 1903 would be on my list. That thing feels like a lazer gun and can be fired quickly, even at quite some range.

The C96 is fun to use with the General Liu while in bolt action mode. It may not be as good of a finisher as the Mars, but it’s the best finisher in the Medic class

I got like +700 kills on M1911, it's just reliable.

Funny enough I unlocked the PK when I came down with covid earlier this year. Got two weeks of leave from my job and took me about a week to finish up the quest. Morse code was a bit of a pain, but thanks to the BF Easter Egg community discord I got it done.

Peacekeeper was very fun to get, just requires a bit of patience.

Also, because you heal yourself a lot as medic, you don't need to use the fast auto heal specialization (forget what it's called). I would swap it out for stimulant syringe cos it's insanely useful if you have to revive in a tight spot.

Peacekeeper is such a nice gun but unlocking it was a pain. I expected DICE to pull a phantom bow like BF4 and make it easy for everyone but they didn't. Kolibri is fun if you play with friends. Long ago when everyone placed BF1 we had a squad in DOM that would team up on lone players and shoot the kolibri at them until they died from it. Blowing up dynamite with it to kill tanks was fun too.

Little off topic but how the hell is your hip fire crosshair so small and accurate?

I love the Peacekeeper 🧡 it's my favourite side arm for years now. Unlocking it was a bit of a long grind with some tricky puzzles but it was fun to do. It's definitely worth the long journey to get the coolest side arm in the game.

Best secondary, peacekeeper...no doubts, no questions, and of course in my own opinion. Its more satisfying to use than the Martini Henry and 1900 shotgun combined and is my top sidearm and also main arm in the game
