I hope there’s no lasting physical problems from your near tragic experience. I’m sure there will be a few years of mental anguish over not reaching the top. But when you look back the reward of your survival and humility of the mountain Will bring sweet thoughts to you in your old age.

They were lucky they weren’t trying to climb Everest, where they would have to have oxygen. At Everest there is the death zone where O2 is essential, climbers have left people to die not being able to share their O2 to be able to climb down themselves.

That's why the satellite phones must always be fit like a handgun of on a on-duty cop does . Atlast you guys are ok🎉.

Himalayan Mtn "Ordeal": Amazing how some American folks can afford flights from the Mtn. Lots of people resources very much needed to help Americans in REAL disaster areas from the hurricanes in Eastern USA.

"A woman and her climbing partner" is a weird way to say "2 women." Was that the choice because the one was American? That phrasing makes the partner seem less significant.

What they don't say is the rescue team were 3 french military on exercise and changed their own exercise to rescue them.

Why does everyone say thank you to the Indian army when it was French soldiers who rescued them? They allowed the Indian army to intervene, but without them they would have died.

ABC newsroom could have given credit to the FRENCH MILITARY GUYS who heard of their destress by mutual friends and decided to attempt a rescue instead of commencing their own climbing path.
The rescued mountaineers said they will invite the rescuers for a good diner in Chamonix!

American ego is crazy; journalist says "an American woman & her climbing partner are speaking out after 3 freezing nights stuck in the Himlayan mountains" instead of stating objectively the facts: an American & a British have been saved in Himalaya by 3 French military men changing their exercise to save them once they intercept the SOS call.
Anyways...
