Darth sidious makes the same mistake as maul does in the comic, instead of killing Luke Skywalker he tortured him first with lightning giving Vader a chance to think and intervene causing his death, sidious should have followed his own advice and killed his opponent instantly, ironic he could teach others his useful lessons, but not himself..

Star Wars Reading Club, I miss the days when you called the emperor by Darth Sidious in the videos' titles.

Maul was so prideful and reckless during these early days. He wanted everyone to know that the Sith are back and ready to rule. He would not have done well if he had been an apprentice earlier in the Rule of Two's line of succession

Sidious: Someone who didn't get the chance to see it and heard about it

I do so enjoy it when Sidious lets traces of his irritation show. He rarely does since he's usually maintaining a facad; be it the guise of Palpatine, loyal apprentice to Plagueis, or one of his other masks. I've mentioned this before but I his interactions with Maul are so special precisely because he doesn't have to worry about revealing any of his true self to Maul, and I love their interactions because of that. Ironic, Sidious told Maul not to gloat to his victims, but Sidious also did that and that was his downfall. Reminds me of the tragedy of Plagueis the wise.

For a short while, there were three sith Lords. I do believe that best set would have had a better chance at winning if they were in greater numbers and they built up their own forces by building an even bigger and stronger army of their own. I do believe that the grand plan could have been planned differently and actually even more efficient than what Darth bane originally planned. The second Grand planwas this they were trained several apprentices grow in numbers and double each generation and build an army of various enemies of the Jedi order and build their own clone army get several million units are soldiers and then overtake the Galaxy and because their power and resources would be tenfold of the Jedi the Jedi would have no chance. if there are 4 sith Lords and say 2 million clones that they would create as their own army the Jedi would never be able to physically out power all of them at once it would be impossible even for Yoda and Mace windu combined.

great comic, i love the art, some of the best i've seen, and one of the best maul stories in the comics.
