Man, this is great baseball.
Too bad the Royals force hometown fans to pay for an expensive cable premium package, through Fox the $787 million liars no less, in order to see even away games, antenna access is denied.
It's un-American to treat hometown fans like that
Royals and Fox can rot for all I care.
But this clip showed a great, free baseball moment , thanks MLB!
As strong as a comic book character
ОтветитьPapa Ohtani!
ОтветитьPitcher looks like a terrified grandpa facing a giant...
Ответить470ftくらいは飛んでるだろ!
ОтветитьWe need the tracker like they use to follow a golf shot.
Ответить443ft??
No...490ft
He tried hitting that rock through the stadium ceiling
ОтветитьReal ones remember when Kendrys Morales hit one wayyyyy up there during the playoffs
ОтветитьHes really gonna go for 60+ home runs is crazy 😮
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьAmazing the fact that he’s almost a sub 3.00 career era pitcher too is just unbelievable
ОтветитьThat home run by Shohei was more than 443ft for sure😅
Ответитьso he hit a homer. Ok great. Nothing special.
ОтветитьIf they try and make him pitch next year it will ruin his batting and he will injure his arm agsin. Let him just be a hitter
ОтветитьHow graceful and beautiful!
And what a smooth and steady trajectory of Shohei's batting form.
This is the result of a perfectly timed strike and swing that captures the core of the ball as it comes in an instant.
The strong repulsive force of the batted ball is quietly absorbed by the powerful muscles of his lower body without wavering.
This produces a stable follow-through after hitting the ball, with no blurring of the body axis.
And the wonderful sound of his hit ball that lingers in our ears is proof that there is no waste or blurring in his hitting, and that all of his power is physically concentrated on a single point on the hitting surface.
This is why, even though Shohei seems to hit lightly and without effort, the balls he hits fly far and wide. His strong lower body muscles are the result of his training, but his dynamic vision and reflexes are probably inborn prodigies, beyond that of an ordinary person.
So to counter Shohei's hitting, we must know his swing mechanics to do it.
It is not really important to know which zone to throw to or which zone is his weak spot in order to hold him down. Rather, many pitchers control their zones to counter Shohei, and because of that, they are getting hit by him.
Japanese pitchers probably know how to attack Otani better than major league pitchers. Darvish probably knew this as well and attacked Shohei. On the other hand, the way Shohei attacks hitters when he is the pitcher and the way he constructs pitches to hitters may have hints on how to pitch to Otani.
If we pitch to Shohei in the same way as we do to other hitters without taking these things into consideration, Shohei will not miss the pitcher's failed pitches with a considerable probability and will surely hit them.
He could have hit that 550 feet or 315 into the Crawford boxes and the still would have lost.
ОтветитьI'll take " Places in the ballpark that I used to feel at" for $100.
ОтветитьThat ball landed in Dallas
ОтветитьAm not satisfied with Ohtani's performance, that's all.
Ответить443 for a foreigner , 500 for judge
Ответитьビッグフライオオタニサーン🤩
ОтветитьYikes! He knew it the second it left his bat!
Ответитьhe made that small park look even smaller
ОтветитьPhysicists must be in awe of him.
A baseball is able to travel at speeds of 100MPH, and then go the exact opposite direction at 114MPH in the blink of an eye !?!?! What tremendous power
Men in Black was real. Shohei ain't human.
ОтветитьThat's more than 443 ft!!
ОтветитьI can’t believe this dude who can’t speak English would make illegal bets. Hahahaahah
Bro doesn’t need illegal bets. He’s hitting bombs.
最強の大谷
ОтветитьI've seen baseballs hit to the second deck and they were over 450 they lied about this home run
ОтветитьWhen I see this, it makes me happy that Japan adopted baseball as a national past time. It's a beautiful thing.
4-)
2:29 p.m.
i want to learn about baseball. I hope you guys help me
ОтветитьGOJIRA
Ответитьタイトル修正されて461ftになったね👍
ОтветитьStatscast has lost much credibility if that was only 443 feet.
ОтветитьAll this means nothing if he doesn't claim at least 1x championship imo
ОтветитьNever seen a two-way MLB player this good just 'til now. Only Shohei. And he's a very down-to-earth person, that's why everyone's loving him, even those who are not Dodgers fans. A very, very, very rare find.
ОтветитьClassic Ohtani W
ОтветитьOnce in a blue moon, we'll be blessed to experience this kind of generational talent unlike any other
Ответить118.7 mph sounds unreal
ОтветитьOhtani reminds me of the player I tried to make in video games as a kid but they wouldn’t let me because it was too “unrealistic”
Ответить"I can't even see it, but I heard it. Oh, it's going to be long gone, it is!."
ОтветитьOUT OF HERE
ОтветитьOutfielders didn't even budge!!
ОтветитьWas there w my kids along the right field line, second deck. Ball was absolutely crushed
ОтветитьI live in Indonesia and baseball is not popular here, but I grew up in Los Angeles, was a big fans of Dodgers. I never thought I would be starting watching Dodgers again, all because of Ohtani.
Ответить2024シーズンだとこのホームランが一番インパクトあったかも
ちなみに最終的に54ホームラン打ちました
Shotime looking and saying sayonara in silencio as the ball leaves west for Japan 😀
ОтветитьBetter than your favorite player and your dad's favorite player 💯
