Audi Q8 SUV- Review One Year Later

Any Audi RS or performance model I’ve been told by many in some cases by experienced engineers at Audi is that you shouldn’t drive it in start stop mode.

You can turn off the start stop feature.

Here in Boulder they're EVERYWHERE

Can you have the interior illumination turn on as soon as you open the door when you unlock the car or do you have to start the car and then it kicks on?

Q8 is nice if it is full of options and at least s-line or SQ8 or RSQ8 but this one is boring and cheap.

Nice car! Now driving an A6 but I ordered a Q8 60 TFSIe and looking forward to it! Just a remark: you say you can push the gear selector handle to the right to put it in sport mode, but that seems wrong. Pushing it to the right puts it in manual mode.
Pulling it down puts it in Sport mode, alternating with Drive mode if you pull it down again.

Never seen plastic buttons under the second screen and hand brake button .I got them aluminium which look much better and more expensive imo

Try put transmission into S when you're going to accelerate fast. It works on Golf, will probably work on Q8 as well lol

Hey! Great video! One thing you mentioned that nobody else mentioned in their video was the gas saving ... the way the car turns off while fully stopped and then turns back on when you accelerate, is that an option we can decline and just have it the "regular" way without the car turning off at a complete stop? I don't think its safe.. it makes me feel like its so bad for the engine to keep on turning on and off.. im looking for a new vehicle coming from a jeep wrangler. I am in love with this vehicle but after you mentioning the turn on and off feature... I got sad. Lol. Thank you for the video again!

which mode burn less gas, I just got the 2021 q8 and the gas burns crazy fast.

Can you permanently disable Auto Start/Stop?

Have you noticed your interior plastic panels making cheap creaking sounds especially when the interiors hot? I have a 2019 Q8 Prestige and I'm going nuts. I know a lot of the vehicles in the Mercedes line have the same issue. Love my car though.

I hate my 2018 Q8 (the actual vehicle but not the model itself). Just annoying little things. I think it was a press car before I got it from my local Audi dealer with 5k miles, 6 months old. However, I love the model, so much so I’ve just splashed £85,000 on a brand new Q8 Vorsprung.

Does it have wireless CarPlay?

Great video...I love my 2019 Q8 in December 2019 too.......don’t see as many in my city as well.

My ‘21 Q7 has absolutely no lag from start and the stop/start system works flawlessly. Good overview and glad to hear year one has been so positive.

why you didn't get the upgraded headlights with the lines in them

Ihave q7 2018. For me personally. The interior aint bad of q7

I have a 2019 Q8 too. They performed a recall fix on mine that fixed the stop start delay. So much better now!
