What a great show. I don't ever remember seeing this when I was a kid but man does it take me back to my childhood. This is the way TV was when I was a kid. It had a certain feel to it. It's like watching the Dean Martin celebrity roasts. I identified with the humor and the jokes but my kids just didn't enjoy it or even get it . I guess the days of variety shows and specials like KopyKats or Dean Martin hour or Texaco's Bob Hope show or Jack Benny shows are just another page in the history books. How I miss that part of my life.
Ответитьi loved watching this show
ОтветитьMan oh man, when I was kid I never missed this. My Dad, God rest his soul, took me for my birthday to see Rich Little in a small club in St. Louis, The Cheshire Inn, we were so close to the stage you could reach out and touch the man. I was knocked out.
One of my greatest memories with my Dad.
Incredible talents
ОтветитьOh my gosh that was wonderful! Love love love Raymond Burr. Plus the whole show was great. And you know what it made me think of all the great actors that used to be able to be impersonated. Now everybody's so darn bland who would impersonate anyone? I miss the good old days
ОтветитьThis is awesome talent, back than, we need more of this today.
ОтветитьThey should've done it in Hollywood with two other pros: Daws Butler and Mel Blanc.
ОтветитьIncredible talent and humor on display here, nothing comes close today.
ОтветитьFred Travelena and Marilyn Michaels were not only great impressionists but superb singers as well. They don’t get nearly enough credit among the best variety performers that were out there. Excellent video.
ОтветитьMarilyn Michaels is the most talented one of the K-KATS..
ОтветитьThis was my favorite TV show when I was a kid..well this one with THE ODD COUPLE, and THIS WEEK IN PRO FOOTBALL.
ОтветитьMy Cronkite is better than my childhood hero, RICH LITTLE.
ОтветитьIncredibly funny with wonderful singing!
ОтветитьOmg I have never seen Raymond Burr cut up and smile! That was awesome!
ОтветитьEXCELLENT! Excellent entertainment! Thanks "FredFlix" for posting this rarely if ever seen gem here and post more "Kopykat" shows if you have more. Loved that Humphrey Bogart tribute as I love Bogey.
ОтветитьAll I can say is WOW! Power Packed Talent! A very unique show. Frank Gorshin very underrated and spot on !
ОтветитьI love all of this. Rich Little did a great Paul Drake (William Hopper) in the skit with Burr. Hopper had already been dead two years when this first aired. Is Rich Little the only one in this episode still with us?
ОтветитьPure Genius ‼️‼️‼️‼️
📻🙂
I have never seen anybody do an impression of Lee Marvin before and Frank Gorshin did it perfectly! He was on par with Rich Little in my opinion!
ОтветитьThat was the Best Bogart impersonation I've ever seen~!
ОтветитьPre Saturday Night Live type humor but with better talent .
ОтветитьWho was Frank Gorshin impersonating during the Beatles sequence?
ОтветитьThe talent on this how is beyond belief!!!!!
Ответить50 Years Ago & Still Entertaining! Some Memories Never Fade, Thanks Fred.
ОтветитьFred, you outdid yourself with this. My God, how good 👍
ОтветитьWho is the movie studio producer guy with yes men supposed to be?
ОтветитьPERFECT Paul Drake impression! I never heard of KopyKats before.
ОтветитьUtter brilliance!!!!
ОтветитьI loved this show, real talent
ОтветитьThanks a lot. I hadn't laughed so hard in a long time...
Amazing talents!
Amazing performers !!!❤ Claude Rains !!! Who ever did that impersonation ? It was so spot on 😂
ОтветитьI THINK KopyKats was a summer replacement show. It wasn't on TV that long. I loved it, though. Top-Draw talent
ОтветитьI used to watch this show.
ОтветитьWatched as a kid still love it todayyyyyy
ОтветитьGeorge kirby was a geniusv
ОтветитьLove it lee
ОтветитьFred....I love your videos, you post the best stuff. Thank you!
ОтветитьPoor George Harrison didn't even get credit for "Something" in the Beatles medley. Guess time proved his talents though. Maybe Fred Travelina couldn't do a Harrison impression, only John and Paul.
ОтветитьSafe to say this show was a pre-cursor to Saturday Night Live. Even it not,it might as well have been for all intents and purposes.
ОтветитьI don’t remember this show.... They sure don’t make comedies like this anymore.. sad 😞
Ответитьplease share MORE..... Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane. I was a toddler at this time but still have a great fondness for the classics. A lot of this is still better than todays tv
ОтветитьOmg smoking on 📺
What year is this Fred
This is great Fred! Rich always did the best Bogart & he did a pretty good Agnew too.
ОтветитьFrank Gorshin singing 'Boy Name Sue' may be the funniest thing I've seen in my entire life!
ОтветитьHilarious lol it is a awful long time ago when i saw these.
ОтветитьMany thanks, Fred, for uploading this long forgotten 'gem' from our past. Frank Gorshin was a favorite of both of my parents, so-much-so, that the only time they ever joined me to view "Batman" during its first run, was when Gorshin appeared as "the Riddler". I should have known about this show, if for only that reason... I wonder how my parents missed viewing this show?
ОтветитьSuch amazing talent!!! Don't know what was more fun - remembering the impressionists or the people they were impersonating!!! Please bring us more Kopykats Fred!!! You hit the mark with this one!!!!! Thanks for the rememberies!!!
ОтветитьFabulous! Great to see all these great impersonators together. I worked with Fred Travelena a little over 20 years ago on a World Cruise - what a talent!
