We’re sorry to hear about your experience with our Japanese-Style Gyoza. Quality is our top priority, and we understand your disappointment in the cooking process, but glad that you enjoyed the taste! We strive for continuous improvement, so I’ve passed along your video to our R&D department to see if they have any tips or can take any learnings from your experience.
ОтветитьSo what I did with mine was I sprayed just a little oil on the pan. Only a little just to coat the pan with oil (dont overdo it). After that, I put the gyoza and lined them up. Turned the heat for medium-high and waited for 30 seconds just to settle things. Then I put 6 tbsp of water slowly on the pan. Covered the pan and set a timer after 7 minutes. After that, take off the lid and let the remaining water dissolve.
ОтветитьLol y’all are so entertaining together😂 I think the pan is the issue. I’ve made these several times and follow the directions without oil and have never had an issue. They’re delicious and get that nice thin crispy layer that spreads out throughout the pan. Agree the sauce is great! ❤
ОтветитьWe make these with our OXO non stick frying pan and they come out perfect using the directions on the box. They slide right out of the pan with no oil so I think it is your cooking pan’s fault.
ОтветитьI usually put the water and the oil in together, let it steam and evaporate, then let the oil fry the bottom til it is brown. Thanks for the gyoza taste test. I'll definitely buy these.
Eta: you two bickering is too funny. Brandon cooking and holding a baby is impressive.
Everyone saying thanks for showing us how its suppose to be cooked, while I know damn well 12 gyoza for 2 people is not enough, so you failed the first 2 packages to be able to eat the 3rd one without feeling guilty " show how to cook it for real " 😂 Thanks for another cooking review, love you guys.
ОтветитьU have to use a non stick pan dummy
ОтветитьHaha booya!! 😂
ОтветитьThe box instructions work great for me. Looks like it’s the problem of your pan. LOL
ОтветитьInstead of scrapping the dumplings off the pan the first time, you should have put more water in the pan and let the dumplings loosen from the pan.
ОтветитьWe actually cook them exactly the way the box said to cook them but when it comes time to pull them out of the pan, we use a thin metal spatula to loosen the adherence to the pan. They come out perfectly every time. We found a thicker plastic spatula definitely does not work.
ОтветитьBest way to do these is with the best nonstick you have and once you add the water(SLOWLY) dont touch. Leave them ENTIRELY covered for the entire 7 minutes. Then place a plate inside the pan and invert them.
ОтветитьI actually steam first than spray some oil as the water evaporates do it doesn’t stick I actually got that from you a while ago😃
Ответить💐🪅💥Happy Mother’s Day Ms. Ming🎁🎊🌷Thank You so much for this taste test, I will stock up on the pork dumplings🥟🥟🥟
ОтветитьBrandon is the man
ОтветитьHappy Mother's Day, Ms. Ming! Enjoy your day with your beautiful family!
ОтветитьThat very thing, sticking to the pan, happened to the sample preparer in the store the other day. Finally saw someone bring her some parchment paper to line the electric skillet she was using. The gyozas are good!
ОтветитьHi Ms Ming and Eating Champ Brandon. 😊. I enjoy watching you two. However I am Muslim and can not eat these BUT I watch bc I love the vibe of y’all’s channel. Oh and yesterday I was FINALLY able to get the kimbap from Trader Joe’s. It’s so yummy !!! ❤ And y’all’s son is beautiful and growing so much ❤
ОтветитьFrom my experience, when the food sticks, just remove the pan from the heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then the food will release easier. This works most of the time.
When following package instructions, always remember heat times and temperatures can vary with different stoves. For instance, if a package says "medium high," I use "medium" on my stove. (Which, of course, means if I ever get a new stove, I will have to learn all over again. 🤭)
You both are so fun to watch. Thank you! 😃
ОтветитьMaybe what I'm going to say is completely irrelevant and won't make any difference at all, but going over and over the instructions and thinking about what could have been done differently, I thought that maybe, in step 3, when they say "heat on medium-high", you actually need to wait until the pan gets hot and only THEN, poor the water in SLOWLY, making sure that the dumplings don't actually sit in cold water for too long? Maybe it sears them quicker that way?
ОтветитьThose look delicious. Thanks for showing us how to properly cook them.
ОтветитьJust fry it. Brandon has grown on me.
ОтветитьJust cause it say no oil doesn’t mean not to use it😂 plus your pans aren’t non stick
ОтветитьYour husband’s method is the one I do as well , I don’t think it was that much oil 😅
