Refusing Red Army transit rights through its territory, Poland bears a MASSIVE degree of responsibility for not only Czechoslovakias fate, but, tragically, it’s own,..drowning ( as it STILL is ) in a pathological Russophobia .

There is something so brilliant about soviet Russia and this synth music sometimes mixed with classical instruments

Without music you're basically just an empty vessel.

That actor resembles Molotov to an uncanny degree !!! Western productions dealing with prominent Soviet personalities often do a dreadful job in this respect. Steve Buscemi resembles Nikita Khrushchev about as much as Al Pacino does.

For those who praise him, your dear Molotov is burning in hell together with Stalin for stealing so many lands from East Europe.

Old Soviet communist lies. One example: "On September 17, the Red Army entered the territory of Western Ukraine and Belarus." A total lie which Putin's propaganda repeats until today. These territories were part of Poland. The Soviets without declaring a war helped Hitler in invading Poland. That day is remembered in Poland as backstabbing by a country with whom they had a non-aggression treaty. Then Stalin did the same to Finland on November 30, 1939. In the movie it was said that the Soviet government managed to move the Finnish border by 150 kilometers from Leningrad. Another lie. It was after the Soviet Union invaded Finland during the Winter War. Finns defended their country bravely and inflicted Soviets heavy losses.

Hi from Dundee, Scotland. The PE8 carrying V. M. Molotov landed at a small RAF training airfield at Tealing, near here. You can see this place at the start of this video. There are still remnants of the original airfield.

False view on history,. Communistic position explained as the only possible, in this way the responsibility of USRR for the WW2 dimished. Russia has to revwrite the history, and apologize for WW2 development. USRR and Germany together are responsible for death of at least 60 millions of people. Stalin with the other socialistic leader, Hitler, developed the WW2.

What a manipulation. So Stalin did not invade Poland, but the west of Ukraine and Belarus was liberated.

Molotov wanted to slowly conquer Europe and try to prevent Germany from going to war with the Soviet Union. During the meeting, Hitler realized that Molotov wanted to conquer Europe and so decided to eventually invade the soviet Union. If Molotov wasn't in any government position then the invasion of the soviet union would've happened after the defeat of Britain and France also with the isolation or coming to terms with the United States. Hitler was going to swiftly knock out the soviet union last because he would eventually know it secretly had a gigantic industry. Even with Hitlers grand plan destroyed and the spirits future in vein, the Soviet Union and the rest of the world would no longer threaten the weak or small.

There is a mistake, I speak from English version, when they said that "on June 22 of 1945", it was on June 22 of 1941.

There are some errors in this documentary: Finland for example was not an ally of Hitler before 1941, after the Soviet invasion of Finland. There was no danger to Leningrad from that direction before that.

If you only knew what the Lithuanians and Polish army and underground did to reverse this situation ...My father and mother / sister excaped to Germany .. The rest were shot and those were not , got transported to Sibiria ...where most died ...Only one survivor on my fathers side ...I do not like the bolshevics ! ...If you have not been in this fight ; you'll never know just how it happened . My father said to his brothers , come with me to Germany .. they said we'll stay here and fight ... the rest is history ...they got exterminated .

Again,many thank-you's to the
StarMediaEN for this education.
I am sad for Mr.Molotov to have
had to be parted from his wife but
happy they spent her last seventeen
years together. Obviously a man
"As hard as Oaks". Appreciated.

Why? Why will you not do English voice overs on your documentaries, you want the west to see your side of history? Americans don’t have the patience for fucking subtitles! You did it w/Soviet Storm why not the rest?

I wouldn't say Vyacheslav Molotov is a forgotten leader. You say "Molotov" and I instantly think of "Molotov Cocktail". Maybe not the way he wanted to be remembered, but his name is fairly memorable.
