It's about time there were two versions of WoT.

A base game that is teams of people who like to use the map to try and gain the upperhand and work together,,,as it was up until about 2-3 years ago.

Then a second game full of gimics and rubbish such as they keep shoehorning in to appease the CoD/Fortnite-kids.

Is WG trying to compete with call of duty and battlefield?

It’s so funny seeing all of this! The PC Version of the game is always ahead on tank releases, holiday content etc but as a console only player the map design, 100% and a lot of the interface changes were on console a fair bit ago

for these changes WG should also enlarge the maps because even now they are small and it is difficult to play on them!!

Shame the future isnt to get a better MM. Trying to fix the stupid 2 minute games.

On Sand River - is a that a "Smoke Screen" or is it a "Sand Storm"? Could be they are considering bringing in "active weather" events...
Wasn't there talk of "tidal areas" on beaches and/or rivers in 2023?

WG have shot themselves in the foot, again. No way a new player will come in and absorb all this cockamamie over complicated BS. The game will die sooner than later, all because they cannot attract new players willing to put up with this BS system(s) they implemented.

Wot needs to quit making ridiculous decals. I hardly ever see anyone using them. I would like Wot to stop making stupid styles and remove them. Get rid of crazy stupid camoflage as well. Who the Hell wants lobsters on their tank 🙄. American heavies need to have their pen increased. For example, the T32 is only 218. It's a Tech tree tier 8 tank. It's horrible. I wish WOT would bring back great looking American Heavies as well. These M-V-Y are horrible looking. Same for the T77. Most ridiculous shit I've seen. They need to Remove 1 shot kills if your tank hasnt sustained any damage yet. Experimental equipment should be removed, it serves no purpose. Their is bounty and improved equipment already.
Now my biggest complaint is the matchmaking SUCKS! the matchmaking should go by your overall WOT rating to make the game fair and balanced.

decreasing the damage at range is the dumbest thing ive ever heard of, do they not understand how tank shells worK? I guess we still live in the age of WoT where gold ammo is still the meta to negate all armor

What difference do these charges make when RNG is so broken that I can usually predict the score 1 minute into the game.

i watched 3 bots get destroyed by random events in one game.... was epic and sad as i was using them as a meat shield for my sniping position.

Not a fan of polish TDs gimmick this feels like shit. Whyy beacuse u hve JGpze100 that should be alpha monster same for shitbarn. Noww I dont like what they did with it. I agree ok if they puah in they will get massive dmg shoot fine soo shitbarn and jgpze100 will be more usefull but still Im not big fan of it. Also check lights loik really small so I guess rhm and sheridan will be even more shit now soo we need another manticore. Other then that I dont want to see more Italian type TDs with ridiculous frontal armour

im just thinking what if wargaming would make these polish TDs have medioker armour so you would have a reason not to go brawling but playing as a support tank.
then i think they will be balanced and even interesting to play

as long as I can switch of these random events i dont care for them. as soon as they become mandratory, i will stop playing wot.

Why do we need explosive barrels or fuel trucks to destroy a wall when we're literally driving tanks which can already drive through walls or shoot HE at them for example? 🤔

If the smoke screens were for arty only I think it’d be fine; it would make arty more useful

They have been killing the sniper for years... first locations and now damage at long range... I'm sure there are more examples of this throughout WOT's history... they might as well just make it a heavy tank only game!

What do you think about some kind of "assisted developement" for friends, who just started with the Game or came back after some time?

What i mean by assisted developement:

You can assist a player in your friendslist & platoon (both, so it doesn't happen in random platoons) for x battles (or x Experience) every week/day, by transferring some of your XP earned together to his research, like 25% for example. For 3 Player Platoons you could go 20% each.
This would only be Base XP, so modifiers would not apply.
If you want to, you can limit this f.e. to only be available for Tier VIII, IX & X Tanks.

I do not think that this would be incredibly OP (if so, lower the % or limit battles), but in any way could increase player numbers and generally be healthy for the community.

Funny about the smoke screen, as I asked them about this earlier in the year on their official stream and they said they would never do it and it goes against their game philosophy.

What ridiculous changes lol, glad i haven't been playing wot for years and am a full on war thunder player, always wondered why Qb never really gave war thunder a shot cause he keeps mentioning slower pace... My guess is wargaming contract.

I saw the trailer and I actually have to admit that I didn't feel anything and I really didn't care about. The game needs new and larger maps. And yet, despite all these years they never do it. Seriously wish someone else who know what to do buy WG and fix these issues.

I think the damage based on range is going to make the game faster again :(

Just to note, the new tech trees will be coming from Tier V for Japan, and Tier IV's for the others it seems. So if you wanna get a bunch of experience in your tier IV's and V, just a heads up.
