When you watch the whole fight and feel like “Oh man, McDondald deserved it but the last round” he was this close. I respect him because he was the one that had the most damage since round 2 and he never disappointed, Lawler was the winner but didn’t do as much as I expected him to do. I thought it was going to be an easy win for him, but I was wrong, he was about this close to loosing. Great fight!

I love it. But wish the fight ended up with cannibalism and necro sodomy. This is the pinnacle of human spirit. Praise be to Satan.

Lawler had so many memorable badass moments in the UFC man. Sprays out the blood then stares down Rory is one, also that time he and Condit both exhausted, hung their arms on the fence as soon as the horn sounded.
When Robbie was champ he made sure, win or lose, you left a piece of your soul in that cage with a piece of his soul there too.

How Robbie Lawler can able to still stand and fight back in the third round, he is wobble, hirt bad and taking so much punch, head kick, body kick, elbow and still able to walk and come back to fight in the entire fight. He is the UFC Champion for a reason.. Thats why Champions are built different, many fighters will get KO or gave up..
The head kick and knee to the head inside the 3 round was just enough to KO average fighter no doubt..

I think this type of fight have no loser. They were both winners, cause this type of entertaining fights are always fun and enjoyable to watch. We the fans always re-watch this iconic great fight. In terms of fight agreement/booking/ranking or contract issue, this type of loss should not be count as losses, the losing fighter will be treated as the winner cause they gave everything for the fans and for the UFC, they put blood, sweat and tears, and gave the fans and UFC what they want and put their life and health as second priority. The loser will not be cut from the UFC and gave the bonus money too.. This is the Hall of Famer fights for sure.. We will remembered this fight always.
