Top 10 Rides and Attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom

I love Shapeland!

I may not be a Disney fanatic but I'd go here for Expedition Everest abd definition Bamshee FOP. Especially that last one, but overall, the park is more of a zoo animal place than a rides place.

Which do you think is more exciting and thrilling, Flight of Passage or Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey?

Also, if you’ve ridden it, what’s Expedition Everest vs Big Grizzly Mountain Runawaya Mine Cars? Whatever the case may be, I seriously hope TRON surpasses Expedition Everest as WDW’s most intense coaster

I hope they get a replacement for Rivers of Light. I really wanted to see that show and it looked like a very underrated performance.

Animal Kingdom opened with relatively little to do, and for years it had a reputation as the weakest Disney World park that long outlasted its validity. I feel as if it's gotten its due in recent years--now people frequently call it the best Disney World park. I'm not sure I'd go that far--Magic Kingdom just has so much more stuff than the others--but Animal Kingdom has the most beautiful theming, the E-tickets are fantastic, and the animal exhibit trails are still underrated gems.

My list of favorites would be pretty simple: Everest and Dinosaur, Kilimanjaro Safaris (the park's "thesis statement" ride), the two big animal trails, Festival of the Lion King. Everest is my favorite Disney coaster. My last visit was literally a couple of weeks before Pandora opened so I have no experience of those attractions.

Awesome vid and maybe a Top 5 for 2022. I felt warm inside watching this one. What a great park! When I saw Expedition at #3, I knew that you are the realest of real when it comes to experience. Love it!

Solid list. Everest at night is a completely different ride!! My only nit pick is Kali River rapids... it is too tame. When I do a raft ride I expect some action and the 1st half of that ride is just slooow. And when it does pick up its over 60 seconds later. I would have it near the bottom. Popeyes over at IOA is 100% better.

Probably my favorite park in the WDW resort just because of how beautiful it is. And despite not having a lot of rides, they sure do make up the quantity for quality! My rankings:
1. Flight of Passage
2. Kilimanjaro Safaris (ranking varies depending on animal activity)
3. Dinosaur
4. Festival of the Lion King
*Rivers of Light (absolutely loved this show, and it will be missed)
5. Expedition Everest
6. Kali River Rapids
7. It's Tough to Be A Bug
8. Na'Vi River Journey (love this ride, but it's way too short for what the wait time usually is like. My first time I waited 3 hours when the sign said 90 minutes)
9. Maharajah Jungle Trek
10. Gorilla Falls Expedition
*Dishonorable Mention: The piece of junk known as Primeval Whirl, loved it as a kid but the track did not age well and it ran horribly during those final years. The Reverchon restraints did not help either.

Everest is my favorite and Flight of Passage comes in second.

Very nice list. I think that the top three are basically indisputable at this park and only vary in order amongst them based on personal taste. I personally rank Kilamanjaro Safari over Flight of Passage but I totally get that a lot of people put Flight of Passage as number one.

I think that the main thing Animal Kingdom is missing is more small scale dark rides to fill out the park. A couple of the Fantasyland style dark rides but done with EPCOT's "edutainment" approach and a focus on nature and wildlife could really do a lot for this park and give the crowds some more attractions between their animal exhibits.

Nice ranking! This is my favorite disney park for sure. I prefer coasters to dark rides, but flight of passage is amazing. Expedition Everest is a solid vekoma mine train, and the park had an amazing atmosphere, especially pandora.

Ngl imo Dinosaur is one of the underrated rides at any of the Disney parks. I absolutely had an blast on the few rides I got on it a few years ago. The dark made it more thrilling to me

Considering I last went here in 2006 I don’t remember much so I’m not sure if I rode Dinosaur I have seen the movie though

Animal kingdom really has everything! I have to go again sometime
