What are some of your favorite one-minute habits that help keep your home tidy? 🤍
ОтветитьAs a man follower to your channel I can say your video's are amazing
ОтветитьGood job lady! The Quicker you talk the less am inclined to listen. Good content. Thanks!😂
ОтветитьI’m so proud of myself that I’m doing most of these things ☺️ years ago I used to be messy until I realised it’s double work to clean after. 🙈😁
ОтветитьCan someone like you come on my life! I am a very clean myself but live with pigs!
ОтветитьGreat tips thank you! For Mums/Parents a great tip although double handling, is pretty cane drop baskets (because NOTHING I say or do has my kids stop dumping things) as drop zones & drop a throw rug that drapes off of it.
BTW I do (like a broken habit) continue to try & help them form habits, shoes in the tub not next to it etc 😅
Great info😊
ОтветитьTo flatten a cardboard box without a knife, turn it upside down, and step on it…hard. It’s also a good way to get out some aggression.
ОтветитьMcDonald's I heard teaches their employees: Clean as you go.
ОтветитьThis content is a guiding light, revealing new paths of understanding. A book with parallel material resonated deeply with me. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Theodore Blaze
Ответить"Exspired" food can still be consumed for a few days - as long as it's smelling good, has no mold or blown up package.
ОтветитьI like to wipe the bathroom sinks, counters, and toilet exterior with a cleaning wipe each day. I dry the mirror with my damp towel, as well as the shower door after using squeegee.
ОтветитьThank-you, it took me awhile to figure these all out for myself but I did and my home is a lovely refuge. I’m sending this to my three young adult children. A big one is processing the mail immediately and dealing with action items right away. This is a big anxiety reliever. It seems hard but it makes things better if we will just do it as a habit.
ОтветитьI realize that I do pretty much all of these automatically because I've chosen to teach myself to do them. The frustration is my ADHD partner does absolutely none of them and it drove me mad until I understood his ADHD. Now we have one designated space where he can go full gremlin mode and I can maintain the order in all the other rooms. It saved my relationship and from me feeling resentful about doing all the work keeping our home manageable and presentable.
ОтветитьGreat video, my Gran used to say the same as you, "never leave a room empty handed" .. I tend to do little things as a habit & also do half an hour or so every morning & evening. It isn't a show home but we are usually tidy! Love the genius idea of scanning receipts, I have a filing cabinet thing at the mo but I'm going to work on that!!
ОтветитьWhere did you get the wood bowl on the entry table? TY
ОтветитьI disagree about leftovers. just use it up in your next meal, u don’t have to waste it. I’m sure it’s easy to find a recipe to combine almost anything, has been so for me, at least.
ОтветитьJust hang the hanger backwards for clothes worn only once.
ОтветитьI love leftovers!
ОтветитьYou should know that the expiration date of food is a production guarantee or sales/marketing gimmick but that’s not reflect on whether food is still good and edible, or whether it is no longer edible.and should be disposed of. so please don’t tell people to throw out expired food. Lots of expired food is still perfectly fine and throwing it away only causes food waste
ОтветитьGreat plan. I am onto this one 🎉
ОтветитьHaving a fixed spot for everything makes cleaning so much quicker
ОтветитьGreat list! Took me many years to learn these on my own, but now my home is a beautiful sanctuary!
Ответитьthese are great tips for someone living alone... but i am the ony female in a house of 3 men with ADHD... I can do everything that you just mentioned in this video, but they wont do it. And i will end up picking up after each one of them including my husband who, after 40 years together , for example, still leaves all the doors and cabinet doors open, and i have to pass behing him and close each one. Having other people in the home who do not pick up after each other is exhausting, and i have come to a point where i just leave it all there. There is no point in me doing what i am supposed to do to keep the house tidy, but living with others who don't seem to care what the house looks like. I tried telling them to close their doors, or pick up their stuff, or wash their counters, but i just end up feeling like a nagger. The only way to have a clean a tidy home would have to do it all myself. Which i will not do because i no longer have the energy to do that.
ОтветитьI got through one and bit CDs while I put away clothes. Definitely not a 1 minute task
ОтветитьHow can I find how to slow the talking down, its way too fast for me to listen to. I know some videos have an option to vary speed, but I can't find it here, thanks.
ОтветитьMonday is my day to check the freezer, Tuesday is fridge check, and take kitchen garbage to outside bins (if not full, check next day).
ОтветитьExcellent. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhen you decant your food you need to remove the older product, put the new product in first, and then place the older product on top. Otherwise you end up with a very stale, or potentially rotting, bottom half/third/etc. I know you said this, but you didn't show it. I assume because it's easier to film the way you did it.
ОтветитьGenius ideas!
ОтветитьIt's deep clean not deap clean
Ответитьthanks ashlynne; lots of things to bear in mind, as i reach for the duster and sort out my work space;thanks for the inspiration
ОтветитьMy guest room bed is filled with washed clothes...golded and unfolded , ironed and unironed.....
How to deal.woth this issue as sowmtimws i dont have the time thwre nad rhen to fold and put in closet..
Love from.india 🇮🇳
My house is out of control and I have read all the books and watched all the YT videos, nothing has helped much. But this makes sense to me. One minute. I think I can do one minute. I'll give it a try. TY
ОтветитьThis can be applied only for women. Men are not able to follow any of these advices, unfortunatley :(. And they are the reason why the houses are a mess, they do not care of anything.
ОтветитьYour home is looking so beautiful… I love your style… so proud of you young people. Sending love from Canada,,,
ОтветитьThese are great tips! I just subscribed!😊
ОтветитьGreat video! Loved the part about not leaving the next person having to put the toilet paper on the holder! So thankful when others do the same!😄Thank you and God bless you!🌻
ОтветитьVery helpful. Thank you.
ОтветитьI am a new subscriber, it find your attitude about tidy as you go simply perfect.. I am 66 years old and I never have a tidy house. I want one but alas I do not have great habits. I flit about getting not much of any thing done. I will get better. I know it. I do the T.P thing with regularly.. that is good, I do not make the bed daily, only if I am the last one out of the bed. My Mr. Does that. I really want to have many great habits and I can, day by day. Off to clean out the fridge.
ОтветитьI already naturally have most of these habits, so our house is always tidy. Only problem is the dishes which is my hubby's duty since I get an allergic reaction to the dish soap and we don't have space for a dish washer 😂 😂 😂
ОтветитьGreat advice!! I been implementing this more and more. people always comment " how do you do it? When do you find the time?'". TY
ОтветитьThank you for your tips on keeping your house tidy.
ОтветитьLove it!
ОтветитьI've already done it even before realizing it. It makes me better and the home looks tidier.
ОтветитьThis is a childhood habit that has continued into my sixty’s. 👍🏻👍🏻😉
ОтветитьDude - great video. Very helpful tips such as putting shoes, coats, bags away away as soon as you get in the door. Resetting all the spaces as frequently as possible. I laughed when you said, "60 second touch up before guests" ... 60 seconds?! More like 60 minutes over here! Lol. Hope to continue working on building up these small habits. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьHi Ashley. I can see the tension in your facial expression. If you've got some problems please take it out and be happy.
ОтветитьWhen my children were small, I worked long hours on the weekend. On Monday after dinner, we had 15 minute pick up. We each had a job- dishes, vacuum, pick up, dust. We played upbeat music and set the timer. It was amazing how much we accomplished in 15 minutes!
ОтветитьWhen I return from shopping, I make sure to not only put away all the grocery food items but also any toiletries or stock up goods! If I don't do it right then, it could sit in a corner for days before I get back to it! Its the deal with it it once rule! I know we're all different but if I don't have a clean tidy and organised space, it gives me anxiety!!
