Nice for my next build

I'm building a new pc now (13600k, 6650 xt, 32gb 6000mhz cl36 etc) for music and audio production. It was between this, Fractal North and NV5. NV5 with glacier AIO and reverse fans is 3x the cost of G360A, which is nuts. North is beautiful, but RGB kinda ruins the look with mesh due to the reinforcement bars. Landed on this as a budget alternative for the time being, to possibly swap it in a year's time. Minus the lack of rubber grommets and usb-c on top. Plus cable management options, seems like a solid case over all!

I don't get why is it so hard to add a few holes so that people can mount 3.5" drivers vertically too. These newer cases virtually always come with just a bay for two 3.5" drives.

If you want top fans to be effective, they should remove air from the case not push air into the case. Heat rises so reversing the fan direction will help remove heat from the case.

if you are considering this case and have an AIO, this case has a massive clearance issue with the ram sticks, atleast if you want to mount them on the top, i had to return my Corsair Vengeance RGB for trident Z royals and THEN they fit

I built my PC with the black version of this case. Mounting a 360 AIO on the top is next to impossible for a few reasons which I will not go into here. Consequently I ended up doing a front mount AIO (hoses coming from the bottom up), this too would have been almost impossible if I had anything larger than a RTX3070 graphics card (unless I ran the hoses from the top which would have put them above the level of the pump). My AIO exhausts out the front while I have three 120's pulling in cool air from the top with the rear fan on the back panel blowing inwards as well. I am running a 13700K with 32GB of DDR5 on an ASUS Z790-E motherboard. My temps do not exceed 78C while running Cinebench and Heaven at the same time for 15 minutes. Just for shits & giggles, I'll be pulling the pump off tomorrow and replacing the thermal paste which came with the AIO with Grizzly Extreme to see if it has any impact. No biggy if it doesn't as 78C is a pretty good temp at 100% load. Cinebench score was 27,554 running both programs above.

Regarding top exhaust fans and fan filters, I ran a bunch of tests on my 5000D, and the results were interesting.

First I had the fans on top set up as intakes. I also had the 3 front fans as intakes, as well as the 3 on the side, for a total of 9 intakes, with 1 exhaust in the back, and another 2 fans on my air cooler. After switching the top 3 from intake to exhaust, my Cinebench temps dropped about 8 degrees C.

However, whether I had the filter on or off made no difference in the temperatures, so it probably makes more sense to leave it on. Definitely run them as exhaust though!

Just don't get white

Does anyone who has this case foresee any problems using full height memory when using an AIO in the top of the case? I use corsair vengeance RGB pro and have a Corsair h100i Elite to mount in the roof. Would prefer to roof mount the AIO but will mount in the front if I have to.

If you guys had to decide between this one and Corsair 4000D airflow, which one would you chose and why?

You mislabelled the Reset Pwr Button, the On/Off Pwr Button is at the top of the Front Panel which surprising you didn't rip off the wiring to when taring the front panel case, wiring cut outs don't need groumets because it's edges are well finished. Glad I bought the case before watching your video. Case lends itself to easy build access. Bought a Phantek 3Pack for the rear & top exhaust. Loving this case as a white/black build w/ a blk&wht kb + blk/wht mouse👍

Ime as a smoker, white cases are fine, after say a year any yellowing cleans right off (nzxt 340)
The same could not be said for the white cables I used in build.
If you smoke I would avoid white cables and fans.

already have a AMD Ryzen 5 5600g & a ASUS TUF B550M Plus WiFi II motherboard on the way
still need to order the Ram, storage, power supply, & a operating system
was thinking at least getting Windows 10 then maybe upgrade to Windows 11

Jayz! as someone who has a Phanteks P350 and have had it for 4 years now I gotta say seeing that little metal sliding door on back of the gpu screw slot made me really happy. My phanteks case doesnt have it and its just a massive opening for dust and airborne contaminants to fly right on into my rig. Glad they added that.

The plate material is so razer thin nowadays all junk, we dont need all that airflow nowadays, cpus are running way cooler

Kek xD Black elements look exactly the same they used to 5 or 6 years ago, when I bought Phanteks Enthoo Pro M. Probably they are cost-cutting and just have abundance of them produced. Whole case looks like older white brother of Enthoo Pro. Not gonna lie, I still use Enthoo and it's hella good case even now. But still kek xD

I can attest to the 90 degree holes for the cable passthrough , I have a P300A, and the some of the SATA ports are in between those metal support between gaps, and it blocks of some ports.

compared to corsair case's at this price point, this is brilliant

Should I get this case or the 4000D airflow?

Been using these for my customers and they Love it! My office clients like the Eclipse P300a and I use that case as the smaller PSU needed for office work fit inside well with the HDD cages. The G360 has been a great value add for the Mid-High end gamer customers, and the Lian Li Lancool2 Mesh is the step up from this case for more hard to please customers who want a bit more cooling and function. You can go cheaper but I only recommend this case and the Lancool 2 Mesh, though the customer always receives what they want regardless ;)

The top filter is designed to be A. Non performance damaging. B. Your fans aren't always on because your PC isn't always on and there will be dust just from the air settling. I hate reviewers that call out shit based on their feelings and this is why more and more I'm getting distanced by your dramatisations in the videos. The reason why tech Jesus and LTT are so highly regarded is due to their neutral, third party and well supported style of review where they take their credibility incredibly seriously. You dishing shit on a product might doom the company and if it isn't warranted then it's just morally wrong. Can I also say as an edit, if you don't actually build a system in the case, what gives you the right to even review it? That's like me taking a car at face value and saying the engine sucks because it looks like it'll suck based on my experience with other similarly shaped cars.

I put mesh on the top of my case because I don't want particles larger than dust falling into the case. I also have a 240mm AIO exhausting through the top and my Ryzen 5900X never goes above 54 degC while gaming, and never above 69 degC running Cinebench R23. I bet if I swapped out the AIO fans to Phanteks T30x120 fans, I could get the CPU temperature down to 45 degC, even with the mesh on top. That's probably going to be my next AIO upgrade.

This review shows why it is better to always go for full tower cases than any of the mid tower case.

I'm not sure how this case won the internet, but I wouldn't waste my money on it. I think Phanteks is overrated. Cheers!

With new gen hardware, I have been trying to find a case with USB4 front panel. Haven't seen any. Has anyone else ?

When will cases come with vertical graphics card support brackets? My current P90 from Thermaltake is one of just a few cases that comes with included. SMDH

many cases don't support AIO 420s on top, and force them to the front. if you were front mounting your AIO, you'd want to reverse the airflow. There is a case use of having top filters.

I think the be quiet 500dx is more value than this. its around the same price.

I always thought those screw covers on the back where to help it look cleaner. Most gpus and add in cards have silver and sometimes black mounting. After you put in a few different cards then you have a mix matched color mess and that cover just makes it look more clean. Most people will never see that back there but it helps if you do have you case showing that.
