I just bought it and it broke after 3 uses. Tried getting help from their customer service and they’re unresponsive. Thank god I’m within the 30 day period with Amazon and they’re taking it back.

Taking price out of the equation..... what is the best. I did find with all my shark cordless that the canisters do not seal tight.

I still love my Tineco vacuum. I've had it for 2 years now, and I owe a big thanks to Vacuum Wars for the great video in helping me buy it. Sad to see there not making it on the list these days. Hopefully, Tineco will up their game and make a big comeback!

Great video. Thanks. We have all wood floors and I heard your comments about the Laresar Elite 3 being good on wood floors in the Budget category. Is a particular vacuum that did best on wood? Or, can I get the breakdown off all the tests you ran? Something are more or less important, depending on the person. So seeing the full test would be helpful. Thanks!

$700 for a cordless vacuum is wild

Would you pretty pretty please do one for rabbit owners? Between the hay, food, litter and "pellets" they are total slobs, and their cleaning needs are a never-ending quest for "free roam" families!! The holy grail would have a "hose" wide enough not to get clogged with hay, HUGE bag and/or dust cup capacity that is EASY to empty, retractable cord, great seal/HEPA filter, navigable/ NOT tip over (I'm looking at you, shop vac!) and would store compactly.

I like how no scores were shown for mid level category, probably because they were higher than Dyson or just as high which would make the list look ridiculous.
Budget Laresar already had 147 points with best Dyson at 180.
It really looks like tests changed from independent to basically Dyson commercial lol.

Even the budget list looks suspicious - I know Laresar, I basically had almost identical vacuum for a while, and it's good, but it's not best budget device for sure.

I'm curious to why the lift-away cordless system from Shark isn't added into the mix. I have a Shark Vertex Pro lift-away that you recommended it previous years and it still boasts impressive results and has features no other cordless vacuum has thanks to it's liftaway system with hose. You think the improved power of newer models makes these features less relevant? Would be interesting to hear your view about it ^^

My Dyson battery died, replaced it and the vacuum worked for awhile, could not use the max power side, OK use the lower suction mode, that worked for awhile, clean as per the Dyson video, worked for a day now it doesn't pick up anything, not worth the money...

just get the Samsung Bespoke Jet Cordless Vacuum

A lot of effort put in, awesome job. I went straight to the budget section as I already own a corded upright but want something lighter for stairs and quick jobs and would have a hard time justifying a 2nd $300+ vac to the wife (I'm the clean freak in this relationship). Even still the budget ones seem expensive for what these are.

Where is the sheet ?

I just bought a new Dyson “GEN 5 Detect“ about a month ago. I’m liking it so far, though you’re right, it is a little bit of a hassle to switch floorheads. It does kick butt on both the carpet and the hard floor! It would be nice if they put a laser detector on the carpet motorhead attachment as well as the hard floor attachment.

Is there an under $100 budget option? :-/

I wish the tests would have included storage and charging video. I'd like visual examples of what it takes to store and charge. I have a tiny laundry room and an even tinier coat closet. I've been considering the

Penalizing a vacuum for having a heavier handle is stupid. You’re penalizing quality and performance.

What I would love is a category "Robot vacuum companion". You likely have corners, a sofa and other spots the robot vacuum can't reach. And want a light weight, affordable cordless vacuum that is easy to use. Where low weight is more important vs battery life, 10 minutes is plenty. The floor part should be simple and not too wide, to get into corners. More like one of those table vacuums that could be converted to a simple stick vacuum.

I bought a robot vacuum to my mother and she loves it. But she has weak hands and I want to buy her something to vacuum the spots that the robot can't reach. I have looked at Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Cleaner Light but it seems still to be a bit too heavy, and a bit complicated to empty the bin.

Not sure fan of dyson. The quality of their products is terrible purchased 2 vacuums, 3 heater fans and a hair blower. Only one vacuum remains and that's after a 2 year time period. If you are going to buy, make sure you buy an extended warranty. Trash in my opinion.

There is not a better cordless vaccuum then the Lupe, by a landslide. It's just on the smaller side for cleaning large rooms.

How about some updated hand held vacs?

I have a Shark Rocket deluxe pro that isn’t strong enough so I doubt I’d be happy with cordless.

I need your help please, I'm debating to buy either a Dyson v12 or V15. I live in a 800 sq apartment 1 bedroom, 90% carpet. We have a medium size goldendoodle and my wife shedding some hair. we vacuum the apartment once everyday or every 2 days. I really want the v12 because it's lighter and the one button to turn on sounds very ideal. on other side kind of need the v15 power for the carpet :(

This is awesome, but please take into account that most of these models are not available globally. In Turkey, only Dyson is available from these picks and its too expensive. Philips has a wide range of products, if you could review those it would be awesome!
