I love seeing entrepreneurs doing big things. It isn't easy to leave a job. Isn't easy but once you get things going, leverage others it is worth the sacrifice. Can live day by day how you want.

I love how Marcus didn't come from a bunch of money. People's excuse when they see somebody is successful is if I came from or had money I would be successful too even though most didn't come from money then onto next excuse. Yeah butt yeah butt. It takes sacrifice in business to be successful most aren't willing to do it. Love how Marcus breaks down the cost.

People don't realize it isn't about selling, making something others are doing it is about making it properly. Why some places there are lines wrapped around the corner, cars flooded in the parking lot and other places not far away hardly nobody is there. I go to a restaurant that is 35 minutes away with no traffic and longer with traffic. Funny thing is it the exact same company just a different franchise is right around the corner plus hardly nobody us there when I drive past. Location i go to parking lot is packed. The assistant manager works for me part time. Same as the shulers BBQ company that was on the profit. People drive hundreds of miles to eat their buffet. I had two other companies where I noticed one place I never saw more than 5 cars a competitor roughly 5 minutes away parking lot stays full no matter time. I tried both places to see what was going on huge difference quality wise etc. They would burn the food and put too much spices on it. If you make a product like it should be people will flock to you. Same as coffee chains some you see cars all I see the place others you can get in and out in a few minutes lol

I invested in a company that has these products and we are in several malls etc In Florida. I never tried it until before. We have a franchise model they didn't want that at the beginning just corporate stores. Happy to see this episode! We are growing nicely now.

This episode hit me kinda hard... lost my mom just over 3 years ago while she was undergoing bypass surgery on her heart. I really hope that her mother is still with her today, as those sudden heart rate increases (angina) are exactly what my mom experienced before she was hospitalized before her unsuccessful surgery. My mom didn't get to pursue her dream career, but if she had I would have done everything to take over if it meant saving her.

I wonder if this was the company that also was on the Billionaire Buyer's show. Anyway, with cookies of all kinds, building a giant commissary and from the ground up stores for cookies is just crazy. If you have a recipe, find a co-packer that can make them with -0- investment (i.e. risk) from you. Then find a store that will sell them for you, again -0- risk. So, you now have a very durable and solid setup, for absolutely nothing, that will bring in $$$, and net $$$ at that. If you 'go for it' on your own, you risk thousands, even millions, for no guaranteed return. Which would you choose???

Had a friend that made full-flavor (rich) cheesecakes which he would wholesale to hotels and restaurants. Good business model. Except right now, of course.
