Prismatic Shard is only rare when you need one for a bundle or something else. When you don't need them, they drop regularly.

Gold and iron Ore is also very useful for Fishing up treasure chests by making the Treasure Lure, combine it with Magnets and the profession for more treasure, very handy if you still need museum items.

Personally, I barely reached just 117 levels deep down the SC, but already got 3 Prismatic Shards in that one run and those 3 were just the ones I really needed in entirety. 1 for the obtain of the Galaxy Sword, 1 for the Theater Bundle and 1 for Enchanting my Galaxy Sword.

For irridum in the middle game (when you need it) you usually have the statue grandpa gives you and if you just use the glitch where you keep destroying them to get like 10 or even more for free you'll get infinite irridium

Yesterday I did the impossible. Yes. I found prismatic shard on regular mines in bad luck day! But I of course used it to make Galaxy Sword. Now ☠ cavern is piece of cake😅

So I'm not watching this video as I agree with the title... and I'm on my first playthrough year 2 winter. I've sold over 10 and have 15 in my inventory. Frozen and magma geodes are my most common hitters.😊

2023 and for those who are okay with exploits, the bug that duplicates Grandpa's statue of perfection still works.

The only thing bugging me right now is how hard it's become to get an auto-petter without going down the Joja narrative.

I just finished finding my first radioactive ores in the game. I didn’t even know you can get radioactive ores! Is there any other way you can farm them or do you always have to get the quest from Qi and just farm from there ?

Another tip for iridium: The volcano in ginger island can actually produce iridium gem nodes if your lucky

Does this work the same for multiplayer?

I think they nerfed almost all of this since you made the video :( floor 11? 1-2 nodes max. same for 41. Dust sprites don't cough out coal really. Even on the luckiest days the ore farm is dry :/

Watching this till the end and hearing if you played for a long time you probably know this. I have 200 hours and knew barely any of this, but now I know at least!

Tip for farming both wood and hardwood, in that order:

Step 1: Craft a bunch of medum sized bombs with a bunch of iron ore and coal.
Step 2: Go to a large patch of trees on your farm, chop down a verical or horizontal line throughout, and place down some bombs.
Step 3: Trees go bye bye, and boom, easy 1000+ wood.

Hardwood:
Step 1: Go to the secret forest, and get 1 or 2 mahagonny seeds.
Step 2: Plant the seeds. I recommend the farm, in the space you previously cleared by blowing up all those trees.
Step 3, Let the tree grow, I'd recommend using tree fertiliser
Step 4: Do Nothing. When the tree groes, do NOT chop it down, because it will spawn other trees by itself.
Step 5. Remove any debris and other, non-mahagonny trees to allow your mahagonny forest to expand and thrive.
Step 6. When you can comfortably chop down about half the available hardwood trees to have enough hardwood, then you should chop down the trees.

I've been playing Stardew valley since early 2018 and didn't know it was that easy to farm those resources. Thank you for your wisdom!.

I've put over 200 hours into SDV but I've never gotten radioactive ore the normal way, it's always been from fish ponds with the SDE mod. XD I normally forget there's a legit way to collect it without modding

For the ancient seed, a think 25 is better. Plus bonus of quicker menu navigation which will add up in real time spend.
