Lots of artists work at night. There are memes about it but you are correct about the work load. It has to be manageable and NOT over-whelming for sure.

Hi John, I’m an older artist (54) and when I was young my most productive time to work was 10pm to 5am and I didn’t sleep much. Unfortunately what I was doing wasn’t healthy. But I loved it. Can’t do it now. I’m up at 8am and in bed by 9:30pm 😊 can’t wait to see more of your videos.

My "routine" is easier ...I just do all the stuff that distracts me all day then make dinner ...and eventually when my partner goes to bed at about 11pm ..THEN I get into the studio, put my music on and paint for about 3 hours! No interruptions or distractions.

Thank you so much for this, I was getting overwhelmed with time on how to balance working on art, but then have time for applying to jobs and editing my portfolio, plus leisure time (exercising, reading, dancing etc). Much appreciated

I follow a similar routine; I seem to have major brain fog during the day and great focus at night time. I could never adjust to working fulltime 9-5 jobs no matter how long I did them for. I felt like a zombie all day and then would gradually become more awake and alert as the evening progresses. It's always important to listen to your body and follow the rhythm which will allow your creativity to flourish !

Wholesome as hell 💖 I love that you eat w your mom, sitting down for meals is such a grounding thing for me during the day. I’ve been doing that more w my mom too. Thanks for sharing ur routine :)
