Dental implants are more than plastic surgery, I had a tooth pulled when I was pregnant and that was 10 years ago, and I still can’t afford to have an implant

I wish I had known this was the topic! I have the weirdest experience with sleep paralysis!
I was in high school and babysitting 2 young kids about 8 and 5. I was sitting in an oversized chair and fell asleep watching shows with them. It was like that halfway snooze, in and out. But then the phone rang and I thought oh okay let me get up to answer that it's probably the Mom.
Well I legitimately laid there and could not move my body. Could not speak or open my eyes and I could hear the kids saying "oh no she must be extra tired, why won't she wake up" and felt them climbing on my to open my eyes and I could see them, but not move still.
I felt like this lasted an hour but im sure it was only a few minutes at the longest. I then fell into a full sleep/nap and about 30-40 minutes was able to wake up and function normally.
It was terrifying. I'm very thankful the children just sat nearby and nothing bad happened and thankful that I haven't experienced this since!

It was truly surreal and hella scary as a teen. For a second I thought, am i dead? 😂 lol

I saw the hat man. When I first got married and was sleeping next to my husband. Years later he got black out drunk and attacked me and about beat me to death, as he was a staff sgt in the marines. I think it was a bad omen. I’ve heard people see him before a divorce or separation. Never seen him any other time. I think it is a warning maybe.

I have seen this man before when I was in like 8th grade my friend and I were in my room talking and I was lying about something I shouldn't have been and i seen him in my house but no long hair just a black hat and long brown coat and I couldn't see any feet he walking back and fourth from my sister's to my brother's room finally stopped at mine scary scary feeling and my friend said she didn't see anything

I have the worst nightmares you can imagine and sometimes it’s the same one over and over. That’s how I know I’m in a really bad place mentally. I used to have one where my grandma came back from the dead and she was possessed it was so scary. She scared me growing up so that could be why Britt has those dreams about Josh.

SLEEP PARALYSIS SUCKS!!! 😰
I have a few reoccurring dreams but I do suffer from sleep paralysis and it is awful. Terrifying. I have definitely had visits from the hat man. For me I would feel like someone/the hat man was picking me up and there was nothing I could do about it. I used to think I was dying every time because your brain tells your body you are a sleep while your mind is still awake so everything slows down including your breathing. I would have horrible panic attacks that lasted for days. Thankfully it hasn’t happened in a while. I got sober from alcohol and prescription medications March 18th, 2021. I had to get in that last Saint Patty’s Day. lol Getting sober and finding coping skills for my tremendous anxiety and super low depression. I also have endometriosis, PMDD, and PCOS that affects me greatly every month and every day. I can relate to you both on so many levels the mental health, sobriety and regular health ailments/feeling like my body is against me. Your podcast is my favorite. It gets me out of my own head and feels like I’m just hanging out with my Girls. I do home care Friday-Sunday it’s long hours with lots of down time. But when I give in and can’t wait till Friday, I watch on Worstie Wednesday and it’s a whole event. I have my stash of Tru Fru in the freezer and my Strawberry Vanilla Olipop and cuddle up and get cozy with my 16mo old son Porter and he watches till he gives in for a nap. I say it’s time to watch our Girls and he loves to see your beautiful faces! Future ladies man. 😬 Love you guys!! 🫶

I don’t know what dentists you ladies are going to but dental care is absurdly expensive in the United States. There is no regulation so just like mechanics, they can charge whatever they want. That is why dental tourism is so huge in Mexico, millions of Americans go there every year for their dental care. It’s just as good if not better and a quarter of what you pay here. I had to have 3 root canals and it cost me $10,000.
And just like Brittany I feel like I would sell my soul to get my teeth fixed. I used to be beautiful. I had a beautiful smile. But then I was in an abusive relationship and the guy knocked my front tooth out. So no matter how pretty you are as soon as you open your mouth and you have a missing tooth people start making assumptions or judgments about your character And your economic status . I became a recluse. I stopped going out in the daytime. I stay up all night I sleep during the day not only is the dental implant $25,000 but they have to do a bone graft and shave down the adjacent teeth to build a bridge it’s a lot of work just to get that one tooth put back in and extremely expensive. It’s super depressing and it’s held me back from living a good life or being happy

Hey! I would consider going to another vet usually any 10 year old dog will have gum disease and etc… unfortunately X-rays aren’t usually part of a dental. Some clinics might do it but usually that separate or you have to go to a specialist. But since Nina is 10 I would consider the librela injection! I’ve seen it work wonders for arthritis! I would consult with your vet and see if it’s a good fit for Nina! My 19yr old cat got there version of it and it worked amazing on her! I hope everything goes well and I’m catching up on all the past few episodes right now 😂

I hate this for you. My dogs r 5 and 2 and I've come to realize that most vets r just all about money. The amount of money I've spent on B's I didn't need and to fix things that could have been prevented is insane.

Girl what do u mean not that expensive? My teeth r horrible. Bc i had s dr back in thr day ehk told me he was writing me oxys bc they weren't as addictive as Percocets. I could have been on the documentary about the opiotate epidemic lol thats how my addiction started from not even smoking weed to pain pills for real pain to the government stoppong all opiates to buying heroin. I work 2 jobs with no insurance like a lot of people. Do u have any idea how much it costs to get the broken ones cut out? They cant b pulled at that point plus being put out. THOUSANDS. and then teeth. I love u both and this show but making fun saying u would save every dime.... We try. Its rrally not funny. Its not just s vanity thing yall seeem to forget we can barley eat anything, the pain, i get sick often from the infection going to my blood stream plus the humiliation. Im a seever ive had 3 kids ask me ehat happened to my teeth. We dont choose to just go around like this. This is not the economy to have dental procedures. We can barly afford gas or eggs.

My ex had to have a breathalyzer in his truck & we would be turnt up then it would beep to blow in it so he would put water in his mouth then blow and it would work even though he definitely wasn’t sober ! Crazy! 😂 every now and then it wouldnt then one of us would just blow for him 💀
