it is in the past now, at that time the covid was just over, so the rent was much lower in general, now you have to pay 7mil for something just barely decent, and the apartment this guy is talking about is gonna cost you around $600-800 min.
ОтветитьQuality of life is better in Communist countries :D
ОтветитьInternet... I pay $50 a Month for 10Mbs Speed... $40 for Landline ( Free Local in US only Long Distance ). I LIVE Off of only $550 a Month ( Bills/Food ) Here in the States... I Make More than that but I OWN and Do Not Rent. I would need a place Dog Friendly and Must Include a place for Her to Run and Play... a Grassy Area.
ОтветитьHello, I enjoyed your video! I have a question: for a solo stay in Da Nang in January, where would you recommend? I plan to be there for two months, focusing on training, enjoying good food, reading books, having drinks, meeting people, and mainly relaxing. Thank you for your suggestions!
ОтветитьSeems like my social security would go a long way there 1200 usd a month I could live the good life
Ответитьmaybe in da nang but go down to ho chi minh vietnam is pickpocket land and snatch , mugging in southeast asia is definitely the worst !
been living in South east asia for 14 years , but nightlife is the best in vietnam , work is pretty good too as a nomads in vietnam .
Again trouble with healthcare compare to the rest . <3 love ASEAN
What's the apartment address? I'm planning to stay in Danang and this place would be perfect. Nice but Low cost and close enough to the beach.
ОтветитьThanks for the insight, guys. Is there a good website to search for rental apartments in Da Nang?
ОтветитьNice one Lads 👍🇬🇧
ОтветитьExpat 🇬🇧🇺🇲 went to Vietnam 🇻🇳 30 years ago ..no Tourists Brilliant now I'm in Colombia 🇨🇴 I live on $1500 built a modern house for $30,000 in the country ..but may spend some again in SE Asia. Spice things up again ..good video👍
ОтветитьI've visited Da Nang before and really enjoyed it. It was a few years ago but seemed like a holiday destination in some parts as it was near the coast! However, I did think it had a nice mix of working but also relaxing because you could nip to the coast if you wanted to. That's one thing I miss about being based in Bangkok, you can get transport to coastal resorts but it takes a while!
Ответитьrent is $300 a month?
ОтветитьYOU SAID IT COSTS A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS TO LIVE IN VIETNAM A MOUNTH .... IT TELLS ME ITS EXPENSIVE ...
Ответитьbro, you can get 80gb for 14dollar in singapore ,10gb for 7 US dollar😂
ОтветитьGreat video! I LOVE Danang and have been there many times since 2018. Will be back in September for a couple weeks. Can't wait!!
ОтветитьExtreme humidity only happens when you go to Hanoi and around but mostly no.
ОтветитьHi am planning to come to Vietnam, how to get English teacher jobs
ОтветитьI apologise, but that guy was so irritating OMG
Ответитьthank you for your videos
ОтветитьThanks for a great video! I am planning to stay in Da Nang for 3 months, and I am curious where is the best place to find a $300/month apartments like his, other than airbnb. Also, which area would be ideal for easy access to beach and the nomad community/coworking? Thanks in advance!
ОтветитьSounds good guys! I will come and live in Đà Nẵng for a while for my retirement coming soon this year
ОтветитьCan you smoke weed?
ОтветитьI love Vietnam and the Vietnamese
ОтветитьVery true! I've lived in Bangkok for almost 4 yrs before moving to Ho Chi Minh City! I'm new here... so far I've found people are kinder and often go the extra mile to help you! ❤ Life's really beautiful.. I love the leafy alleys! And you can save or travel while living a pretty good life. Nightlife is definitely not as happening as Bkk, options are fewer or limited to certain places/districts (I might not have explored all it has to offer yet!) But again, that could be a better thing depending on what you choose for yourself right now..
ОтветитьTHANK YOU TO BOTH OF YOU
Ответитьcan u recommend a good website to look for an apartment in HCMC?
Ответитьif i work online tho do i just stay for 3 months, then leave and re enter the country or how does it work?
ОтветитьGreat video man!
ОтветитьDiscuss about the pollution and the trashes everywhere. Even in millions dollars neighborhood.
ОтветитьWhat if I go there as a digital nomad, fall in love with the place and want to stay long term? is it super hard to get some kind of residence?
ОтветитьSo much disinfo here. I'll just address the "safe" claim. As far as crime, yes it's fairly safe. But PUBLIC safety is a huge problem. Public safety in Da Nang and Vietnam is quite dangerous. You can easily lose a limb or your life because of public safety issues, such as a gapping hole 10m down on the sidewalk that's not marked off. Too many examples to list. Why do you think you see so many people with no limbs in Vietnam. It has nothing to do with wars. It's public safety issues.
Ответить😳😎😳😂😅🤣😎😎😎
You guys made Da nang , Vietnam sound delicious 😋
Anyone living in Hanoi? How’s the life there?
ОтветитьMove to the surrounding areas / districts not where most expats live, specially there where you shot this video near the beach, and your perception of what living in Vietnam is like will be quite different...Not sayin' most people are not friendly or that the majority of places are not safe tho'. cause they are. But you will little by little get fed up by the excessive noise, neighbors getting drunk pretending to sing karaoke while blasting their chinese loud speakers all the way to the top, excessive vehicle honking, violent neighbors whenever you ask them to dial their music down a bit or to not burn trash on the street right next to your place, reckless and violent taxi, bus, truck drivers (lots of them high on somthin'). Getting scammed everywhere if you dare to buy anything not displaying a fixed price. But if you hang out around the western-expat areas the sun might shine brighter for ya'...Singapore, Philippines , Thailand or even Cambodia seem to be a better option for mid to long term stay.
ОтветитьI currently pay $340 for a serviced Studio. That means they clean every day if I want, and they pick up my laundry and bring it back nicely folded. Also has a parking garage for the bike, 24 hour staff and security/cameras. Wifi...It's a great country to save money!
ОтветитьAll Major Cities in Vietnam suffer from : High dangerous PM O3-Pollution levels (lung disease and breathing issues on sharp rise ) Extreme Noise Irreversible Climate Change Extreme Heat Humidity And UV levels (un avoidable due to location near equator )- Rapid Growth equaling Mass Traffic congestion , mass! - Poor Infrastructure , common power outages(no nuclear energy) over reliance on fossil fuels - poor global citizen education ,unaffordable contraceptive or sexual education equaling mass mass over population equaling low poverty wages - Very poor Water and Food sanitisation standards - no effective accessible public transportation .
-over reliance on western free capitalist open market trends - Core typical free market real estate monopolies and corruption from Resorts to Oligarchs - To accepted street level Scams , bait switch, upscale ,price gouging . Deteriorating values cultural and Darhma values loss to foreign influence and Internet social media brainwashing .
-No littering laws -
Rapid Capitalism and foreign investment must be held responsible for social ecological and environmental impact .
If there was a time to implement a 10year plan for change ? Now would be the time before it is too late.
where would start looking for those apartment with roof top pool ect...? Coming from Canada witch airport is best to arrive in Vietnam if you want to stay in Da Nang?
Ответитьwould you start with air b&b at 1st where would you start looking trusting for a 1bdroom apartment?
ОтветитьGood job bro!! It's cheeper than Philippines?
ОтветитьDriving/traffic is really like a school of fish.. Its definitely like an organic think, not covered by laws but rather by instinct and just following the group.
ОтветитьI just got here. I find it difficult to tolerate the constant horn beeping. It drives me crazy! I also find the expats rather aloof so it seems hard to meet friends. Also some of the communities that are pure Vietnamese are a bit scary to me not to mention I stand out out a sore thumb but I am acclimating. Goods tips though on getting an apartment paying the extra $100 and getting a circle of friends.
ОтветитьDefinitely I recommend denang, was there a couple of times, had an excellent dentist and enjoyed great variety of Western food native food, and rented a cheap scooter, that is your freedom, or a hazardous aspect I intend to go back there, but I have a question for readers here....
Now I am currently on dialysis does anyone have any idea if PD supplies are readily available or how much planning ahead I might need any answers?
BTW I think many young women here are more friendly, and More Beautiful than most countries
🙏🙏
How to find an apartment when you're still oitside Vietnam? I have a cat with me and can't stay at hotels. Thanks
ОтветитьHow to get teaching job please
ОтветитьOH my goodness. I am now in Istanbul, paying the "least" amount of money for a small hotel room for more than $1.4k (no kitchen, no swimming pool, just 1 small room with loud road noises outside the window).
ОтветитьVN is considered safe in violent crimes only, because of tough gun law, and strict social laws in communist countries , but other crimes like : scams, pretty theft, bribery, corruption are very bad, worse than Thailand or the Philippines.
ОтветитьVietnamese people now are crazy to learn english, it much more hype then most South Americas ,and they like talking to foreigners to practice English, the only problem is.. their accent is vey hard to understand, even the fluent ones.
ОтветитьYou knew much about our country, friend ! I have to make an assassination ASAP lol lol ... By the way, welcome and let's try some other places like Hanoi, HCMC, Nha Trang, Dalat, Sapa ...
Ответить
