Hi Grace! I love your channel! I just wanted to let you know the reason Gypsy licks her lips all the time is because her mother told a surgeon that Gypsy drooled so he surgically removed her salivary glands. She suffers from perpetual dry mouth. Another awful procedure her mother had done to her 😢

Honestly, I think Gypsy loves Ryan, but after being with him, I think she realized she was just not physically attracted to him. The old ' love you like a friend' scenario. I think from episode 1 she just didn't feel any desire. She overcompensated by building Ryan up as being a real Dynamo, but obviously he wasn't. HE sure grasped onto it, though! Can you imagine the increased misery Gypsy must have felt, having to put up with his "I wanna love on my wife" crap. He would have made my skin crawl. I'll bet Gypsy felt that way too, even before the idea of Ken was ever brought up by Christie.

Although I’m not entirely “team Ryan” myself, I agree that he was treated like absolute crap in the last episode, which was pretty upsetting to see. It’s one thing to be tired of somebody’s controlling or excessive behavior and to voice that maturely, everybody is entitled to their own feelings and I do sympathize with Gypsy on some things about Ryan (like his jealousy and temper), but it’s very evident that some of his “anxiety” about being dumped for Ken was undeniably a level of intuition. The second Kristy brought Ken up, Gypsy’s entire demeanor towards Ryan immediately changed until it got to the point where she was straight up picking fights with him, recording him whenever they had a disagreement, rolling her eyes at him and scoffing at him, and doing a lot of that while cameras were involved. She even would get visibly annoyed with him if he was just being affectionate towards her, which told me what we all already knew. She mentally checked out the second Kristy started to plant seeds in her mind about Ken again. It is one thing to no longer be invested in a relationship and to desire your freedom, but another thing to completely sabotage the other person in the process and treat them like dirt. Seeing the way she treated Ryan at dinner legitimately made me sad for him and made me lose a lot more respect for Gypsy. There are ways to go about difficult conversations and emotions mutually without making other people feel like total sh*t about themselves. And the fact she goes on her lives and makes fun of Ryan with Ken gives me strong middle school bully vibes… there was no excuse for everything she put Ryan through, whether he was controlling or not. I’m aware she didn’t have a good upbringing whatsoever and so emotional intelligence is not in her vocabulary (for unfortunate reasons), but a little bit of empathy from her for once would be nice to see, at least.

Grace I have to disagree with your POV. Honestly I don’t think Ryan would be insecure if christy didn’t start bringing Ken up. If Ken was never mentioned I don’t think Ryan would be acting the way he is. The moment her step mom started talking about Ken gypsy has been trying to find reasons to argue with Ryan so she can leave him. If she doesn’t know what she wants she needs to be alone for a while to work on herself.

I definitely empathize with Gypsy over her abuse from her mom, but at the same time if she wants to heal and be better she has to do the work and I don’t think she’s really dedicated to it.

If you haven’t watched any documentaries about the case before she got out , you should. It will completely change the way you think of her and sympathize with her past decisions/mistakes
