Compare it to the Walther PPK in .22
ОтветитьI carried one I bought in the 1990s used in the box for $150-it was well made and nicely blued. It loved cci stingers-everything else? well, we shot stingers at $1.59 a box. If you realize its roll is to punch little holes in mean people and nasty dogs to change their attitude and to go away -it is in many ways like the NAA little revolvers-getting shot with anything including a strong BB gun gets a persons total attention. Stupid me sold my 21A and now I am looking for another and also the 951 22short MINX. The minx is smaller and thinner I believe and only single action? Neither is a target arm-I use cci shot shells and feel they help spread the love around. I went to a 38 Body guard and then found a NAA Black Widow was the ideal carry in 22mag ---3 cci shot shells and two hollow points should cool any assailant and was always there.
ОтветитьI've been waiting to pick up my 3032 for almost 2 months now for an amended license in NY pretty ridiculous. Lol Anyway, I could not agree more. These are not cheap. i wouldn't have bought it, probably if not for the rebate Beretta had, but it is a great range toy and super cool, like you said. Now even more excited to pick it up even though a slightly different model 🤘👍
ОтветитьHope yall review the newer ones they announced at shot show
ОтветитьIt's a womans gun
ОтветитьWhy buy this when you can walk into about any gunshop with a second hand area and pick up a .25acp for about $50-125 pending on how old it is... and how many parts from Brownells you might have to buy.
But at the end of the day they are cheap and 25acp is like the mighty mouse of pocket carry.
Anyone else use nail polish for sights sometimes
ОтветитьA bit harsh on the cost of it - it was 650 MSRP maybe... but I just scored abrand new tomcat and bobcat about 3 months ago for 400 each - then I got the $150 rebate too on both - hell yes.
ОтветитьIf they'd bring back the Jetfire, then maybe. it's the .25auto version
Ответить30x Tomcat GHB
ОтветитьPut a Crimson Trace laser grip on it. I have one on my 3032 Tomcat and it works great.
ОтветитьI bought one and absolutely hate this gun. Trying to sell it off but apparently has zero resale value. Big regret buying a 21A
Ответить👍🏻👍🏻💯💯🇺🇸🇺🇸🔫🔫☕️☕️
ОтветитьShit state i live in wont let me have the threaded barrel. That being said i want one of the new ones without the threaded option
ОтветитьMetallic paint pens…. Fix those sights right up.
ОтветитьOh I thought this was the 32 cal version 🤷🏻♂️
I’d love to see the 32 reviewed. Can 32 actually stop anything??
I have one of these, it's a well-made nice little gun,
BUT,
I can have a 9mm (with more bullets) in almost the same size in the Ruger MAX 9.
My wife has the Ruger LCP in 22, and that little guy is great!
hint: paint *exists*. Some of it is even fluorescent.
"an optic cut" 8-( ) to do what - to turn a pretty pocket gun into an ugly not pocket gun?
No I’d rather have a bersa plus with threaded barrel. 13 rds of .380 in a fixed barrel. If you could modify the slide to lock for quieter shooting that’s even better.
ОтветитьI'd like to get the LCP 22 with a threaded barrel. A shop near me has both the gun and the threaded barrel kit for sale... I need to drive out there and get it already. The Beretta sure looks sweet though 🤔
ОтветитьPistols like this aren't meant for anything beyond 2 yards...
ОтветитьBefore the end of last year Beretta offed a $150 rebate on these. All in on a FDE threaded version was $339.67 (New) (469.67 on Gunbroker, $20 transfer, less $150 rebate); keep your eyes peeled, with the new models coming out shown at SHOT Show, they could very well bring the rebates back. Also, fun fact about this and the model 950 (also a tilt barrel), they do not have extractors.
ОтветитьHave the FDE version of the Bobcat. Same issue with the sights, think it dumb on Beretta's part to sell a gun with a threaded barrel and low profile sights. Then again, you could equally argue it was dumb of me to buy one. As for carry, if I want a tiny Beretta auto for backup, I'd rather go with my Nano. 6 + 1 of 9 beats 7 + 1 of .22LR.
ОтветитьThe Hot Brass Boogie dance!
ОтветитьThat 21a is cool not quite as cool as my Israeli contact model 71. I would actually love to see a comparison between the two
ОтветитьGlad I got the FDE model with PSA was selling them for cheap
ОтветитьSent mine to amerigun USA to have the front sight milled off and an rmr plate installed. That mixed with modifying some tomcat pinky extensions made this gun so much more fun.
ОтветитьBeretta and Langdon Tactical have independently recently been improving these tip-ups with proper sights, including optional red dot optics. I'm not sure if they've released .22s with the new features yet, or only .32s so far. Beretta did release "tactical" models a few years ago with threaded barrels, so they probably included suppressor-height sights instead of the dinky useless mousegun sights, although I don't remember. The new .32 is the 30X (the older one is the 3032, and LTT is modifying them with some of the new 30X features if you have one). There will probably be a modernized 21A soon, a .22 counterpart to the 30X, so it will have real sights.
The Ruger LCP II .22 and Kel-Tec P-32 .32 are more modern designs much better suited for the purpose of being carry guns rather than range toys. But the Berettas have higher build quality and more aftermarket support. You can buy a factory or custom shop one with a great trigger (LTT trigger job) and options like red dots optics and threated barrels. Or even more basic, you can get them with decent sights. They haven't always been reliable but they're decent and Beretta is claiming the 30X will be a reliability upgrade.
So the Beretta tip-up barrel guns are better shooters than the polymer-framed Ruger and Kel-Tec competitors. But they're twice as thick and heavy, as much as some .380s! So they have limited appeal as a carry gun, unless you want a really nice little pistol and don't mind that it's underpowered for it's size.
I wish there was a Kel-Tec P-32 type pistol that was higher quality like the Beretta. The P-32 is cheap, but it's the one people defend their lives with. If you ask me, it's the guns designed for range fun that should be the cheap ones with poor build quality, and the carry guns that should be well-made and reliable. The P-32 is a better design but the 30X inspires more confidence. I don't think we'll see custom shops start making custom $1000 P-32s with upgraded parts, but maybe they should. It's more likely that there will be a new competitor, perhaps with a staggered magazine, but new .32 firearms are a rarely introduced. .380 is more popular nowadays, but it's too big and powerful for the smallest guns. I love .32, .22, and even .25 (although no one makes a .25 pistol worth carrying anymore).
That thing is definitely not worth 700. Better off just buying pants with deeper pockets.
Hell, if your pockets are deep enough to afford that turd then it would probably just get lost in there!
Good review, I like the Berttea
ОтветитьIm excited about the PSA offerings.
ОтветитьI got this for 380 at axolotl arms in dec.. mail in rebate of 150.. brings it to about 230ish. Definitely worth it . Wouldnt never pay 629
ОтветитьPro tip, don’t try the whole “grind the safety down so it becomes a slide stop” thing. It snaps the hammer pin and launches the safety detent into the back rooms. It’s also a super awkward conversation with Beretta when you call and ask for a new safety lever because yours “broke” somehow… ask me how I know…
ОтветитьThis isn’t a precision firearm. It is designed to be a point blank assassin tool.
ОтветитьI ordered some black out coffee. It has been slow boating its way out of Orlando for about a week now. I hope it will be worth it, because it is the first time I have ordered any.
ОтветитьIf you think this pistol is lacking, try using their 32 suppressed.
ОтветитьNo, sir, I would not carry it. I wouldn't mind it as a range toy, though.
ОтветитьLmao 😂 @ "hot brass". Love your "Zorro"/"Three Muscsteer" pose.
Ответить🇺🇸
ОтветитьThat little gun doesn't need LARGE sights. Its made to be used up close and personal.
ОтветитьI like my Covert
ОтветитьI need this
ОтветитьGood lord. It’s a mini 22 back up pistol that’s meant to stick in someone’s gut and empty the mag. Optics cut? I’m so tired of hearing you say every pistol needs an optics cut.
ОтветитьI prefer my beretta 71 suppressed
ОтветитьLooks like the cricket from mib
ОтветитьI have had several of them over the years. No matter what ammo I fed them, I would always get the occasional jams. Much better options now with all the small 380's on the market.
ОтветитьWish it was a double stack.
Ответить🤘 😁 🤘
