French singer / actress / dancer Claudine Longet aka Mrs. Andy Williams
THIS is a beautiful trademark song cover by Claudine Longet because of her naturally beautiful French accent.
This song was recorded during the 60's a much happier time when Claudine was still deeply in love with her then husband Andy Williams, father of their three beautiful children. It was a more innocent and happier time as they did holiday TV shows together as a family and Williams would feature her on his show to sing and too dance as she was a trained dancer first. Musician Herb Albert saw her singing on a Ben Gazara TV show and he was delighted with her soft whispry voice which is also how she talked Herb Albert signed her to a recording contract with his music label but her vocal range was such that she only did about ten or twelve songs that really sounded good in her vocal range to cover while all the others given her to sing were out of her range and did not sound good.
