Dr. Boz, Thank you for your videos. Got a mind boggling question. Why do you think Minnesota has the lowest death rates from heart disease of any State? Also Hawaii, which runs neck and neck with Minnesota. I have been to both those States and carefully observed. I might know the answer but admit its a guess. You could almost make a video on this subject.

Two years ago I was 254lbs, with coronary artery ectasia, prediabetes, and GERD. I started intermittent fasting; one meal a day (low carb real food) for the most part, relaxing to a 5 hour eating window. Now I am 205 lbs, no GERD, reversed the prediabetes, and my latest CT scan reports no evidence of heart disease. Take that are you will.

We need to see long term clinical trials on this. The only meta-analysis that I have sighted on reversing heart disease was from Dr Dean Ornish and a case study from Dr Cardwell B Esselstyn's plus a few others and they were all on a whole plant based diet. Not the ketogenic diet.

I have managed to do exactly that. After a year and a half of 18 hour fasting and whole food diet, I have managed to completely reverse my atrial fibrillation. I was permanently stuck in AF, and after an ablation
that failed within a year. I luckily discovered intermittent fasting. I thought my healthy life was over.

I'll try this for Lent this year. I typically start with a 3-4 day water fast, then I'll switch my eating habits. Thankfully I love Sardines 😊. The hardest part is quitting everything else. Caffeine, nicotine, I use the Zyn pouches and sugar. I normally have a headache for about two weeks. Then I start to feel amazing. Why I come crawling back after Lent I don't know. It's probably just not sleeping enough when work gets hectic, but still I need to learn to stay on this lifestyle perpetually not just for a month and a half out of the year. Thank you for all your great info and encouragement.

Seriously?? A 3 day sardine fast? Well of course it will increase autophagy, but so will a 8 day chicken gizzard fast. I think I'll start my own channel and recommend that because it is just as theoretically sound. Honestly, some of you internet docs are getting a bit ridiculous.

I eat everyday between 6pm and 11pm - nothing but coffee in morning - so I disagree with the morning vs evening timing - 5 hour window is perfect for me -
Maybe not for everyone but NOBODY is the same

When I wake up in the morning, I am absolutely not hungry at all, probably not till mid-morning, 9 am at least! I wake up btwn 5 & 6 am, & I must have my coffee right away. I've heard that if you're not hungry in the morning you shouldn't force yourself and just wait until you're actually hungry so I have a hard time to eat right away, to try to spike my blood sugars first thing in the morning.

Mmmm...Sardines. Love me some Sardines! I can do that. Have you done any videos on Lumbrokinase or Nattokinase for plaque removal? I think it is very important to clean the liver also since fatty liver has been in my family. I personally use the L-Threonine amino. TY 👍

The fastest way that has work for my patients and myself has been 22 hour water fasting and OMAD on carnivore diet.
1 pound of grassfed pastured raised meat.
100 grams of grassfed liver
1/2 stick of butter or tallow
Water with full spoon 🥄 of Himalayan pink salt.

Islam is an anti-cancer way of life. No alcohol, no bacon, no promiscuity, fasting etc.and that's just the basic stuff. The faith does immeasurable things to benefit human health. It therefore creates a naturally healthy people. This fact tends to lend credence to the faith being divinely inspired. 'To be 'saved' means to be 'Saved' from self inflicted hell due to consequences of a bad lifestyle. Jesus also lived this anti-cancer lifestyle.

In a recent "Shorts" you apologized for the medical world. While I appreciated your honesty, we patients bear some of the responsibility. Partly out of being too trusting and partly just laziness, I was just GLAD to find out Metformin would help my diabetes. Then there's the legalities that doctors need to consider in our litigious society. But, thanks to the internet and programs like yours, I am now learning. However, I'm 80 y/o and not much you can do about aging - not that I'd really want to in today's world! Sorry this is so scrambled. Just trying to say THANK YOU ALL for all you are trying to do despite so many obstacles in today's world!
