I am the Cody Lewis that is related to Daniel. And Daniel was one of my best friends/cousins. The police have contacted me twice about this, the last time was at least 2 years ago. And Dawson msgd me May28th/2022. I still have the convo. I told him I have never purchased a cooler, and also never wrote my name on any of my belongings, also not my writing. All the same things I told the Squamish police twice, so the fact it says Dawson said the police cannot find me is a lie. Being accused of this is crazy. I was probably closer to Danny than Dawson was Marshal.

There is only one reason the reason the authorities have been stonewalling this investigation - they are involved in some way .

Whoever did this had a 3+ (who really knows how long) hour long converstation with Daniel and Marshall while they we're scared, frantically looking for ways to pay him off/get out of this situation. Cody Lewis states the cooler is not his and police believe him (Had Daniel been reported missing in November, this may have been a very different story). While they were at "that irish place", who knows how many things Daniel and Marshall said about their lives, friends/family. The cooler and the trail of burning clothes leading to the river is sus af and I'm sure it's planted evidence, definitely made to look like "Cody Lewis" didn't have enough time to burn the evidence before getting spooked. The person involved probably thought Cody Lewis was the most convenient person to set up from their talk at "that irish place". They were most likely caught up in some heavy shit with the wrong people from Vancouver. I'm not fully sure how Marshall ended up in BC but his "expertise", the fact he was failing school and that he had his truck payed off tells me he was involved in this shady deal. These are the kinds of stories that keep me biting my nails through the entirety of them, they just have a certain eeriness to them. Reminds me of the Luke Joly case in North Bay, ON (Currently Unsolved). I hope the families get closure. It's kind of scary these things can happen to seemingly normal Canadians nowadays. Stay safe, don't get in over your heads, and always prepare for the worst.

This sounds like mistaken identity over some stolen funds from a crypto wallet. The era of bitcoin has created crimes that sometimes hinge on Stolen nuclear Technology such as detonators or raw materials . Bitcoin is one way organizations get around traceable money links with large transactions.

I would not hard to believe Marshall Iwaasa might of been mistakenly involved with some sort of money transfer gone wrong and him being involved indirectly, being suspect due to associates involved in something nefarious.

If ur burning a car there's no need to take the steering column let alone ur gonna have to take tools to remove it

Easy. The police were told to back off by a someone or someones who were extremely powerful either in government or 3 letter agency. These young men are definitely tied together in something and knew a little to much. Or the police are simply incompetent, lazy morons. Or some mixture of the 2.

Burning anything on property you do not own is a criminal act.

There needs to be an investigation into the law enforcement agencies themselves if they are doing whatever they can to not have to pursue this case. It's suspicious.

Considering that there are some indigenous relations here, I’d say this is a possibly purposeful mishandling of a case. It happens all the time when indigenous people disappear

They were involved together with drug dealing, between the two they used the supply up, lost, were robbed or it was stolen. There might have been some money & what ever remainder of the drugs in the storage locker. The first guy after being caught by the drug dealer that was seen with them both. The drug dealer gets information as to where the second guy was. The two go get the third guy. That's where all three are seen at the Irish bar. The Irish bar where the patron said the first guy claimed the third guy was going to kill the two of them. This was after the patron of the bar asked, what the two were doing inside the truck for two hours. The Dealer was trying to get information about where they had the drugs & money stashed. The two were taken from the bar out into the deep woods by the stream. Both were killed & there bodies are buried out in a hole in the woods along with the steering column. All of the contents of the truck were gone thru . Only a fraction was left of the drugs & no where near the money that was supposed to be there from the amount of drugs that had been fronted to them. The first guy was killed out in the woods at a hole the two wrre made to dig. Then the second believing he would survive after going back to help remove the steering column & helping to go thru all of the items. While attempting to burn the truck , the killer of the two. Catches the second guy on fire while setting the truck a blaze. That's why there was evidence of someone being burned by catching fire. The killer puts the man on fire out after he collapses and dies. Then taking the body & steering column back to the hole where the first guy was shot dead & laying in the hole , to be buried along with the second guy & the steering column. The area needs to be searched very closely with cadaver dogs. The bodies will be found buried out in the woods, not too far from the burned out truck.

I feel like a lot of the cases I’ve seen or heard about that occur in Canada all start the same. The RCMP drags their feet or down right denies any crime had taken place until blatant proof is shoved in their faces.

Sounds like something was removed from the vehicle post blaze and dragged to the creek in order to extinguish the fire. Could also be that it was already outside of the vehicle but in close proximity and caught fire. Whatever the case, this crime scene is indicative of chaotic circumstances and hasty action. Someone was in a hurry and not operating off a plan or got caught up in an unforeseen situation.

The Police 👮 ain't that trustworthy, that's for sure. Useless and work-shy often covers it. Nothing suspicious up there? Lethbridge POLICE 👮. . . waaaaaaa? The Police 👮need to be accountable with jail time worldwide 🌏- for what they DO, and DON'T DO.
NO mercy for corrupt frauds and liars in post. Government money, paid by you and I, covers their wages. So we all need people who actually work for their/our money, not lazy parasites.

Are every Railway Police units somehow involved in drug peddling, I think I've heard it a couple times when someone randomly killing themselves with weed, trains and gunshot wounds deemed unrelated to cause of death, closure is probably a long shot for the families, but could they sue in this case? Isn't the burden of proof more neutrally weighted instead of proving outright guilt?

One strange thing (on top of all the other strange stuff about this whole thing) if your going to burn out a vehicle, why would you remove the entire steering column? That makes no sense at all. Theres no point in that, it's just too completely random for someone to do.
