i love how even with the range attack they added i managed to kill it with prot 4 netherite armor, 1 totem, a sharp 4 netherite sword, and a strength potion just by digging it into a hole while it spawns

Hey Phil, about the spawn rates of the Warden... It has NO spawn rate. This means that if you kill the thing, it can come back immediately after. It spawns via shriekers. Btw, Wardens can be spawned IN GROUPS. Yeah, if you keep making noise around shriekers, more of them spawn. Haven't watched through the entire video, so I'm not sure if you've figured this out, but still.

i think phil has some good advice you just dont fight these guys the wardens that is some great advice i still have not even attempted to kill one they are to hard to kill it is not worth the risk in hardcore and i do not plan to kill one especially given it is not worth it they give you a bit of xp and a sculk catalyst it is a cool block that has an interesting mechanic but it just is not worth taking them on right now even a year on from the release of the warden

And we learned later on why there's a ton of wool in the Ancient City.

I ended up bringing redstone to the deep dark to distract wardens with a noise machine. It’s helped us so far!

The wool in the city is there so the warden can’t hear you when you walk on it

I experineced them today and they 2 shot me in prot 4 now, they have gotten stronger, and basically the only strat is to spawn several withers in the Ancient City and have them fight and let him destroy everything. ALSO, every bit of sculk gives EXP if not silk touched, and all of it can be Silk Touched for Warden farms, they only drop a catalyst for now but I imagine 1.2 is gonna have something for us.
