I just tried to play it. My game isnt able to connect to EA Online servers what so ever. I tried it all: Repair, DNS Swap, Firewall settings etc. Its just not connecting to EA Servers and so i cant play it at all :(

Unfortunately it's broken again. Quite a lot of cheating going on since recently.

LMAO, it only took 3 weeks after the new kernel was released for it to be hacked again. EA sucks.

Still my favourite fps ever, and in my top 3 games. Loved playing as cavalry.

Sniping in battlefield was at it’s absolute peak in this game. This was the only one where sniping was actually a viable play style for me. You can be just as successful being an aggressive objective pusher as you can being a long range traditional sniper. It made it feel so fun

Some DICE servers have players with name of DICE Botxxx (some numbers). And if they are not super high skilled players, there are lots of cheaters on these servers. They end the game with a score of 60-70 kills and 0-5 deaths etc. It's very suprising and questionable.

DICE killed it on Linux/ Steam Deck though

Downloaded it again a few days ago and it has quite a few good servers populated. Hardcore, standard, plenty of dlc maps included in the rotations so you can actually get the dlc weapon assignments done, I'm sticking to this game as long as they keep it alive

I wonder why they don't continue release the new DLC (map) for Battlefield 1.
If they lack of money, they just need to open crowdfunding.

Ah yes lets let DICE install intrusive anti cheat into our systems and also make it unplayable for Linux. What a save by DICE...

If you got a midrange pc it feels amazing to play at your monitors refresh rate for once. Its so smooth.
New games just barely look better while taking a huge toll on performance

I just bought the Premium Edition on Xbox, it was on sale for $4. Battlefield 5 was the first one that I bought, and I regret not playing this in its prime. Having an absolute blast, I’m hooked on it! Please, let’s keep this game alive forever!
