Good video. I wonder if it would be a good idea to use silicone at the corners before tiling into the corners to keep watertight in case of cracks occuring at corners

One of the most important parts you did was keying in the substrate before you directional troweled.... and you didn't even mention it....cool video, good work!

Thank you so much. We ordered a contractor for a small bathroom hack and retail . He did such a bad job, aswell as delaying and ignoring our calls. We decided to finish the rest our selves. The work we did seemed to be significantly better than what he did aswell as fun. This video really helped a lot thank you!

I used this thanks. The batons are a good method if you get straight timber and spend time mounting it perfectly on the wall.

I think my tiler used this video and mixed the adhesive by chucking it in a bucket and mixing at full speed without covering the floor!

Bought some Wicks emulsion paint for our living rooms. In total four coats applied, still has shadows. AVOID.

Should have latex gloves on. Tile adhesive is terrible at drying out your skin.

Literally no mention of correct notch trowel needed and collapsing of the ridges.

Shocking , I've been tiling for 25 years , how you've said to set out is a joke , leave tiling to proper tilers or let s real tiler show you how to do it properly because you've clearly got no idea yourself
