thank you Hank Schrader with fine hair.
ОтветитьYou lost me at Jose Cuervo... Otherwise a good video.
ОтветитьAt first glance i thought this was Alec Baldwin 😂
ОтветитьAwesome 😅
ОтветитьIt's pedantic and that classic Margarita is a winner but I always prefer it served 'up' as it originally was, for a real treat Grand Marnier instead of Cointreau is a winner, you may need a little simple/agave though as not a sweet, I love my Margarita's super tart however so forgo any sweetner over and above the sweetness the orange drink brings
ОтветитьSubscribed!
Ответитьhe is on point !
ОтветитьI would definitely put a little agave in mine.
ОтветитьGimme one magarita i’mma open my l…🎶
Ответитьthe best margarita is a tommys margarita
ОтветитьNice riding. Is the R3 quicker from a drag race point of view?
ОтветитьSimple syrup in the frozen but not in the on-the-rocks version? Just curious.
ОтветитьNo chance you used large ice cubes in that shaker even tho you told us to!
ОтветитьLooks good! We like a little agave nectar in our rocks margaritas. Kinda like your simple syrup in your frozen drink. Also like Gran Marnier or triple sec or cointreau. Each has a little different flavor. But, as I am a drinking bartender here at home and making margaritas from scratch can get kinda time consuming! Here in Texas we have found that Republic makes some nice margarita mixes. Classic, jalapeno, prickly pear, etc. Some I don't care for, most are good. :)
ОтветитьHow do you get so much liquid? When I shake this in ice I barely get any liquid and its way to strong
Ответитьyo it's my first margarita...sooo strong... not sure I can drink these. Anyone else experiencing this? I thought it looked extremely strong but also I don't really like the flavour. Using Contreu and Jose Cuervo... so... thought it would be decent. But bloody hell, double tequila and a single Contreau will wreck me. Overpowering
Ответитьmistake #6: using tequila, use MEZCAL instead 😉
ОтветитьTriple Sec? 🤦🏽♂️
That's the mistake
Wouldn’t this make a bitter margarita? No simple syrup?
ОтветитьI'm the margarita master and I regularly drink them at the 2 bars where they were probably invented (Ensenada). Cheap blanco tequila makes the best margarita ( I agree to avoid weird-flavored off brands). I generally agree with everything else, except that some mixes taste much better than an authentic margarita.
Ответить4oz of tequila
2oz of lime
1oz of agave nectar
1oz of cointreau
orage bitters to taste
Agave nectar gives a little sweetnes and adds to the natural falor of tequila since tequila is made from agave. thank me latter
The mistake is you are using terrible tequila. look into "Additive free" tequilas.
ОтветитьAgalime organic mix is my go to
ОтветитьThis is how I learned how to make a perfect margarita in mixology school in the '70's. Quality tequila, Cointreau, lime juice.
ОтветитьAs a bartender in nyc…
here’s the recipe. Skip the triple sec. (Technically this is a “Tommy’s margarita” but I’ve worked at 3 bars and we all do this, no customer has ever asked about the orange liqueur. This recipe is better and easier…
2oz tequila
1oz lime
.75 simple syrup.
Here’s a tip… don’t shake. Roll. In other words don’t put ice in the cup and the tin and shake and double strain back into the cup. Just put the ice in the tin, do a light rolling motion (not a shake) and dump all in the glass. By “rolling” and not shaking the drink still gets chilled and diluted, but not aerated and doesn’t get any little ice chunks. Plus it’s faster, requires less ice and now you don’t to have to wash strainers.
Roll about 20 seconds.
And dump straight into the glass
So yeah, do that recipe and you impress people. Having a party? Multiple those specs by 3 and you do that twice and in no time you have 6 great tasting margs.
Another tip… only salt half the rim. That way if people want salt they got it and if not half doesn’t have it.
Another tip. Just never use triple sec orange liqueur. Instead use either cuantro or dry curaçao as you orange liqueur. (And don’t use orange liqueur in a margarita.)
Okay. Mistake #3. Let's go back... Im following you now...
ОтветитьIs it bad that I always drink 12 oz margaritas?
ОтветитьPerfect but Combier is the worlds best triple sec imho.
ОтветитьAwesome video! I'm a novice at making drinks; never made margaritas but now that I have a Vitamix and my friends are a little demanding, lol. What portions of the ingredients would I use in a 48oz container and how delicious margaritas would come from that container, at a time? THANX in Advance
ОтветитьThanks Brotha awesome Margarita 👌😋
ОтветитьI use 1oz of fresh lime juice instead of 3/4oz stated in the video and it turns out to be the best balance for me. Most restaurants and bars will add simple syrup to the non frozen version and it’s awful. Kudos to this video for making me a fan of margaritas!!
ОтветитьCould you tell me how to fill up a margarita machine lol
ОтветитьTo break your “only lime” theory, good bars are making super fruit juices, like oleo sacrum, which has yielded better reviews.
A touch of OJ (less than half an ounce) gives it a bit more sweetness, and a lot more prominent colour, unlike just lime juice.
Also, ditch the simple and use agave syrup.
I will follow this minus the simple syrup. I always find simple syrup and triple sec together to be too sweet
ОтветитьLord, thanks for hanging in my heart where you keep my heart warm in Jesus name, amen.
ОтветитьRay, EXCELLENT presentation!! Never addressed in this such a fine manner back when I was learning bartending while in college... 40 years ago!!... THANKS!
ОтветитьYou are very kind and decent man. God bless you and those you love.
ОтветитьI prefer Grand Marnier, and 1/2 oz of pure agave syrup too. Yum!
ОтветитьWriting a video game route where you mix a margarita in one scene and you need some options to screw it up to make the character disappointed in you if so desired so this was very informative in teaching me how to make the worst margarita. Thank you wise looking stranger.
ОтветитьI never knew Brett Kavanaugh was a bartender.
ОтветитьMinus the 1800, one of the worst diffusor industrially made so called tequila - sub with a quality blanco then you have a margarita : )
Ответитьcheap blanco tequilla is fine
Ответить6th mistake and biggest is to not use Diffused 100% agave tequila like Jose Cuervo 1800. Use El Tequileño, Arette, Cascahuin or Cimarron
ОтветитьFun and easy video to the point for tasty maragritas for years!
ОтветитьWhy the first cocktail does not hace syrup and the frozen one does?
Ответитьrecommendations on diffuser / non-diffuser tequila?
ОтветитьHow about adding some real pineapple juice?
