When I first started my (now defunct) podcast in 2018, I would have paid SO MUCH for this content. Thanks so much, Josh. I'm now co-host on a podcast with two other women and while I've learned a lot over the years I've always felt I could push it to the next level with the right EQ settings. This is amazing. Thank you, thank you!!!!
ОтветитьAre you still offering this service to people? I'd like to send you a recording and hire you to adjust my audacity. Can you do more than the EQ Filter and adjust other settings?
ОтветитьThe difference is here for sure.
btw did u forget to apply sibilants reduction to YOUR voice in this video? That 's' sounds quite harsh sometimes
do you have equalizer for acoustic guitar?
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE :'D <333
ОтветитьI appreciate you.
ОтветитьJosh-All I can say is thank you. You really are a Picasso of sound EQ. It is very easy to see how passionate you are about your craft and that you love it so much. Bet it doesn't feel like work! Anyway, I have been doing VO work for only about 4 months (after being away from a short career in radio and producing tons of ads) but this is a game changer. They never taught us or told us about any of this stuff in broadcasting school or even at the station. I have done one audiobook so far and hope to do more. Again, keep being awesome at what you do! Thank you * a million!!
ОтветитьOh sorry - I see this video has the EQ settings. Disregard my previous comment in your other video! haha
ОтветитьThanks, man.
ОтветитьI can definitely hear the difference in your video, but for some reason who im trying all 3 on my own voice, i just cant tell if its any different from the original audio or even the difference between the 3. is there some weird anomaly where one can edit their own voice haha i dont know maybe its because atm im using my cannon 200d mark II mic which i hope to change soon to a shot gun mic but yeah i am not sure what im doing wrong here. Thanks for the video
ОтветитьOmg you legend, thank you so much, been looking for a female voice audacity video forever
ОтветитьThank you .... thank you ..... thank you 💜💜💜💜
ОтветитьIf I want a deeper, darker quality to my voice, should I use the male EQ?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this Josh! I have been over one year searching for settings that are good for a female's voice but without any success, how come I didn't find you before? My voice overs became 10x better. Thank you for not leaving us out❤
ОтветитьJosh, thank you so much. You have no idea how disheartening it can be to attempt to adapt all the "expert advice" for a female voice. I appreciate you.
ОтветитьJust started editing my partner's new podcast. My first time attempting something like this and your tutorials and advice are a massive assist. TY from bottom of my heart!
ОтветитьThis video is so informative thank you so much!!! I was really wondering as well would you use gsnap or does this process help with auto tune?
ОтветитьSuggestion: add something about "for women EQ"? I bet the video would get a bunch more clicks. Reason: it took me a bit to find this video and if I saw something about female EQ in the title, I would've clicked way sooner.
Thank you for this. ❤
Genius!! I'm recording guided meditations and this is so helpful. thank you so much!! :)
ОтветитьSubscribed!
ОтветитьSubscirbed dude...... Thank you so much
Ответитьthis was absolutely fantastic and truly useful, thank you very much mate!
ОтветитьThank you!!!
ОтветитьThank you!!! This is amazing!
ОтветитьThank you, sir! Really eye-opening about processing for VO.
ОтветитьAfter a hideous amount of searching I found your channel and my GOD your videos rock! An absolute saviour for someone starting out as a VO artist- subscribed! Can't wait to try these EQ's out, thank you so much! <3
ОтветитьI just saw your video and after watching for awhile, I really think you are very talented.
I am not sure have you done any video for man's tenor voice for singing . please let me know , thank you. appreciated. I am very new to audacity too.
It would be great if you can just give a basic settings . thank you
Josh, I checked to see if I have the latest version of Audacity, which I do. Went to go download the EQ 3, followed the instructions but when I go to select the TXT file from the import option, it just says, "Josh Meyers Female EQ 3.text: is for a different Effect, Generator or Analyzer" Not sure what I am doing wrong??
ОтветитьThank you very much Josh. as a newbie in Audacity I have been searching this solution.
ОтветитьWell, I've got 2 accounts with which I hit the thumb up button for this. Thank you a lot for what you do for us !
Ответитьwhere is the male eq free dl link???
ОтветитьNew sub here, thank you for this video, Josh! ♥
Although I mostly just tweak the audio recorded with my video in my editing program, I occasionally make videos where I record voiceovers and recently discovered Audacity (yes, I was using the basic Windows recorder before, yikes!).
I applied your female EQ and am very pleased with the results. Thanks again! :)
New follower here! Taking a Radio Production class and your videos has helped me a lot. Thanks!
ОтветитьHi! Mr. Josh, I'm very thankful of you, been using Audacity for a month but I haven't find a helpful guide to edit voice, thankfully I found your channel. Thank you for enlightening me!!
ОтветитьThank you for this, Josh! Check out my Fiverr page next week...you have my info...
ОтветитьThank you so much, Josh. There is a lot of trash out there indeed (not sure why they kept on coming up in the search results). But I'm glad I got through all that to find your channel
ОтветитьThank you! Solved my problem
ОтветитьI´ll have to believe you, and thanks for the presets. But I cant hear the difference. Don´t know if is my headphone, or my hearing that is off...
ОтветитьThank you for this
ОтветитьThank you so much. Your videos are invaluable!
ОтветитьAmazing videos and tutorials. Are the male eqs also available for download somewhere, I found only the female ones? Thanks
ОтветитьSubscribed. Thank a lot.
ОтветитьThis is so very useful, and already I am building a wonderful library of your tutorials! I also own and run a Yamaha Keyboard & Piano Forum with an Audacity section, and links to several of your tutorials are in there already! Please do keep up this excellent work! :)
ОтветитьHii Jose really luive the way explain
Thank u so much ,
Please tell us about phasers to
FINALLY...EQs and audio editing guidance for women! I've watched so many videos now trying to learn Audacity and audio editing from scratch. Ironically, it's for my podcast which is about inclusion and belonging, and guess what? 99% of them are by men, for men! Turns out, women sound different from men 🤦🏻♀️ THANK YOU, Josh, for all your detailed training videos, and for focusing this one on EQs for women. You talk about wanting to give back and make and impact, and you totally are - I watched all your videos to figure out how to edit for the first time in my life (and I'm NOT a techie), and now I'm launching a podcast! Unfortunately I lost my job this year so all I can offer you is comments, likes and subs. :) Keep up the awesomeness and thanks again!
ОтветитьGreat video! I am learning lot from these videos. You can also use View-->Track Size --> Fit to Height to fit multiple tracks proportionally :)
ОтветитьHi Josh . I really don't know how to thank you enough for these free equalizers. Now my voice sounds great after applying these filter curves. Thank you so very much. You are doing a great job. keep it up.
ОтветитьBig like .. big thanks from egypt 💚
