We already see this with the unreal engine 5 passion projects.

The one thing he didn’t mention about AI is what happens when open world games have their Finite State Machine AI being replaced with autonomous agents (AI NPCs)

As models get smaller and fine tuned games won’t need to have their agents making API calls to OpenAI.

They will train their own game specific models and all the agents will run on their server.

Each game will be filled with emergent play from the interaction of organic and synthetic players.

It will feel like a mirror world.

You won’t know if that other player is an agent or a hardcore roleplaying human.

Genuinely asking, if GTA 6 isn't planned to release in fiscal 2025, then what games exactly would give them 3 extra billion than normal?

No one understands that the game will be out in 2025 as for them to make 8 BILLION in sales they would only do so with shark cards and such. Games like borderlands RDR2 bio shock. He's a very well spoken, easy to understand CEO. No stuttering or mumbling. Also, makes sure to make eye contact with every host while he speaks.

You guys are not understanding what he’s saying here. GTA6 will not be released in fiscal 2025, it will be available for preorder at that time. Then released fiscal 2026. The initial uptick in sales are preorders. That’s how huge this game will be.

If the rumors are true about GTA 6 being redesigned after Houser’s departure, then man am I scared. TakeTwo handles 2K and they’ve been handling Rockstar similarly in numerous ways now. GTA 6 may be the make or break for gamers that have been investing their time into their games for years.
