While I'm firmly of the opinion that, out of the small sample size of women in positions of power, it is that there are shitty people in every demographic/ group. Just some groups currently have more power than others so are more likely to abuse that power.

Having said that. If 99% of men died (ignoring places in the world where women aren't allowed to become Drs or the like) the life expectancy for women would go up due to how much gendered violence there is. ie. Look at the rate of women who die at the hands of their male partner every year if you want to be depressed.
