Hi, i’m going to buy the 13600k but don’t really know if i take ddr4 or ddr5 since it’s a 1500€ build and i’m already at 1600€ with the 4070 +i need to geg a higher cost motherboard if i take ddr5 and also because it’s higher cas, i don’t really know how to save money in my build and i’m kinda annoyed because i see a lot of build that are literraly cheaper than the one i have but better perfomance like i don’t know what i’m doing wrong

I just built my PC a couple weeks ago and I've been bit by the PC building obsession virus! I wanted to upgrade to the i7-12700K but noticed I need a different motherboard. I have a list of add-ons I want for my PC, and now I'm here on your 13TH Gen build guide- decided that if I'm going to upgrade and need a few more parts.....
I'm going 13th Gen, and I am going to basically "build down" my current build and get age appropriate GPU, ram, storage etc, for the biggest birthday/Christmas surprise for my son this year - his very own PC! I haven't been able to afford Anything big and "cool" yet besides his switch lite and the look on his face when he saw the switch was for him, was the greatest feeling in the world! He said "wow, I didn't think I was going to ever get one!" So I think a PC is in order.... earlier than planned because mom has been bit by the PC building obsession virus! 😂😂

I am also thinking about building a new PC with the 13600kf and dont really know if i should choose the b760 gaming x or a msi z690 tomahawk. Both ddr4 versions. I dont wanna do overclocking anymore, maybe a little undervolting of the cpu. Gpu will be a 4070. Pure base 500 fx case and a pure rock 2fx as cpu cooler. What do you think about these components and the z690 vs b760, cuz im unsure. Thanks in advance

I am thinking about bulding my first PC with i5 13600K. I will use it mostly for coding, editing, music production and maybe some gaming, so high-end GPU isn't really important for me (?). Maybe a 3060 Ti would be more than enough for me, but tell me if I am wrong. But my main question is, 64 GB DDR5 would be an overkill? I am not an expert but I think RAM and SSD quality is more important for me if coding, edting and music production is my priority.

Always better to get the k vs kf on any cpu - its only a few bucks more and if you ever have a problem with your gpu you can still boot up and have a display for troubleshooting.

Purchasing a 13600k and a rx6950xt. At first I thought it was going to be to much CPU but it looks like I made a decent choice. I was only looking to spend around $600 on a gpu so I decided on the RX 6950XT instead of the rtx 4070. Good to know maybe in a few years throw a 4090 with that cpu and I can upgrade my 1440p rig into a 4K monster. I also had to upgrade my mobo because I am coming from a 2060 super and a i5-9600k.

very nice video! it helped me to realize a lot of stuff. like the fact that i buyed a Adata Xpg Pylon 750w for this cpu with a rtx 3070.
do you think the power supply would be enough? i would say that probably if i want to overclock i would need more power.

I will do gaming (RDR2, COD, Cyber, Assassin, WD 2....) and also productivity work (Ae, Pr, Ps, Ai, Blender...). For DDR4 to DDR5 upgrade which one will be better for me?? Personally i am an AMD chip fan that’s why i want to build with 7600x. Is it better for me or should i go to intel 13600k??

but the gigabyte z690 supports only 12th gen intel cores. how can it function with i5 13600k? which is 13th gen.

You can overclock on the Gigabyte H610I, But it is not wifi, And 2 DIMMS I think, Still though you can overclock on it, lol, And I don't know too much about overclocking, Though I am interested in learning now, This PC stuff is interesting.....
Personally I would only do a liquid cooled system, You can get tidy liquid cooler for the same price as a decent what I call an Air Filter, lol, Still though for people who not got much, It is something, Got to be grateful for all you do have I know I am, And I only got a low end PC, As long as I can Sim Race, And lets face it you can Sim Race on the PS4 lol...
But what if, Instead of getting one 3090, That is priced way above what it should be by now, You could possible get a motherboard with 2 GPU slots for two 12gb 3060 GPU's, Wouldn't the two 12gb 3060's linked together be as good or as powerful as the one 3090??
But yeah I have been getting into this PC build stuff, If I was rich I could spend a big fortune on just building PC's, For poor countries and children's hospices, I really do believe gaming PC's can provide amazing education when the game is designed around learning or education, Space Animal, Many different things can be implemented into a gaming slash education tool plus, There is so many different ways you could have a PC set up aswell, Its nuts the amount of different combinations in PC builds, But I would only ever build around an Intel CPU, lol....
But yeah I seen you can get duel CPU motherboards, I am wondering what dual CPU motherboards are actually like, At what cost ect, Interesting concept double or even four CPU motherboards, lol....
No honestly even intel 10th gen i9 or even i7 and a decent motherboard, I am saying that an i7 6700k is an amazing chip for gaming, I read people even still gaming using 4th gen, Testament to intel that is, I remember years ago I bought a PC for around 800 pounds I think it was, Was years ago, An AM8 or A8 if I remember, I got it for music production before I knew about PC's in general, And it was terrible, Took ten mins for it to load up, Now every other PC I have had have been intel, All the intel chips I have had, It's not many, lol, I have never had problems with intel, Like I said the 6700k is a great chip....
Wouldn't 12th gen i5 still be as impressive as the 13th gen i5, The 12th gen is saving a few qiud or is it worth sticking the extra in for the 12th gen??
Also isn't the i3, 13th gen still a good little chip? Is there a massive difference between the i3 and i5, I know the IGPU is different, But what else is different from i3 do the i5 apart from cost, lol....
Again PC builder comes up trumps with the knowledge, No messing about straight to the point....
