This is hands-down the greatest video for my final boss fight of the homebrew Pathfinder/DnD campaign that I've had going on for roughly the last 17 months.

Essentially, an ancient evil broke free from hell after hundreds of years, killed all the deities, and the helped my formerly evil players defeat the all-powerful creator dragon. Then the ancient evil dragon absorbed the creator dragon's power and has begun to destroy the world, to start over again. But the party was granted one wish, and they resurrected the creator dragon, who's PISSED, and they're going to fight alongside it to take down the evil dragon who's pretty much doing a universe reset.

Gonna sound weird here but this series of songs has (in my head) become an epic story of several beings of light (Humanoid). The strongest of these beings is one who chose mortality as his strength, having seen a future battle for the fate of life. These beings face off against a Ravenous and bloodthirsty void entity bent on destroying the warmth of life from the universe.

Portal: the entity lands on earth and the light beings prepare for battle. The leader wielding a sword of light powered by his spirit. The blade strikes true damaging the entity, yet Near the end the formless void engulfs and possesses the leader, taking advantage of his mortality. The sword drops from the battle no longer bearing its inner light.

Endurance and Evolving: the possession finalizes as the void adopts the form of the being, gaining his combat abilities and strength. The Void emerges and a glowing golden heartbeat within the It’s dark form is all that remains of the leader. Against all odds he hangs on, but just barely. The void entity proceeds to start destroying the other beings of light.

For Honor: The fallen blade is picked up by another being of light, yet he is unable to wield its power. The Void eventually sensing this becomes enraged and violently pursues the being, killing other beings of light on the way. Humanity watching this horror scrambles in terror before the void’s onslaught, except one child of pure innocence. The being with the blade is eventually caught and the blade falls out of his hands and lands at the feet of the child. The child seemingly drawn to the blade picks it up and it’s power reignites, setting the edges ablaze. The child without fear charges the entity surprising it with near unblockable slashes. The entity opens up a rift after being wounded and escapes.

Caged: the void entity corrupts many from humanity and turns them into creatures of the dark, raising the beginnings of its kingdom on the Earth.

Flight of the Angels: far from the darkend part of the Earth, the remaining beings of light conduct a ritual summoning their leader enabling him to exist both within the void and to be present with them at the same time. The leader of the beings of light states that they are running out of time, and asks for the blade. The child offers it up and the leader begins a soul forging process on the blade that burns hotter than any forge, imbuing his strength into the blade, cracks of light crawl across his spirit as he tempers the blade, in his final act his soul disintegrates like embers in the wind. This act weakens the void, and yet it still retains its mortality (the beings strength).

Tidal Wave: the child is trained away from the earth by the remaining beings of light in a peaceful grassy paradise in a state of Eternal twilight. The blade is now a powerful artifact with a life of its own and chooses the child to be its bearer.

Final Stand: with the child and the weapon in hand, they return to Earth to rid the universe of the Void once and for all.

The man stood up as he looked up at the creation god. He was broken mentally and physically to the point he shouldn’t even be standing, but something would not let him quit, something kept pushing him forward despite the state he was in. He soon coughed up blood on a scale that should be deadly. “Damn it! The dragon blade and my power are destroying my body again!” He said as he held himself up with the dragon blade as a faint feminine voice whispered in his head. “Just give up. You know that your body cannot contain my power for to long.” The voice cackled as the man coughed up more blood. The creation god looked at him and felt pity for him. “Why keep fighting a war that you cannot win and sacrificed so much? Your bother died by my hands, and his death was in vain.” The creation god spoke as he taunted the man who was slowly beginning to become enraged beyond his normal control. “Your friends all died pointless deaths by my hand and soon so will your wife and child.” The creation god started to laugh manically before creating an ice spear and shooting it at the man’s wife, but it was soon blown away by an unexpected power.

The man watched the spear fly towards his beloved as that was the final key to freeing what he had kept quiet for so long. He grabbed his head as he tried to keep calm, but it didn’t last as a pillar of red light erupted from him. His eyes turned into a blood red as did his pure white hair. “FINALLY AFTER MILLIONS OF YEARS!! I HAVE BEEN FREED FROM THE PATHETIC GODS MIND!!” The man said, but something about his tone and way of speech changed. The creation god looked at him as he did not know how to react to such an unexpected event. “Where did this sudden burst in power come from my friend? Have you been keeping secrets from me?” The man looked up at him with a wide toothy smile, like he was excited that he killed an entire town of helpless people. “Oh you think that I am your friend? No I am he to kill everyone and everything and leave nothing left behind.” The man said as he grabbed one of the dead bodies and ripped off an arm. He then drank some of the blood pouring from it as his body healed from the battle. “My my looks like the blood of the war goddess is one of the best I have ever tasted, though I think yours will taste even better!” He said as he vanished and soon appeared in front of the creation god as he stabbed the dragon blade through his chest.

The creation god panicked as nothing like this had ever happened before during the war. He felt his body start to contort and break bones and tear flesh and organs apart. “YES LET THE BLADE CONSUME YOU!! JOIN MY FRIEND IN THIS BLADE AS YOU SUFFER ETERNAL TORMENT!!!” The man said, but was knocked back by his own punch as the dragon blade was forced out of the creation god. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STOP YOU WILL NOT TRAP ME IN YOUR MIND AGAIN!!” The man said as his hair was beginning to turn back into white and so were his eyes. “THIS IS MY BODY!! YOU WILL NEVER GET OUT AGAIN!!! YOU WILL REMAIN TRAPED IN MY MIND FOREVER UNTIL THE DAY WE DIE!!” The man said as his left eye turned pitch black and the left said of his hair became pitch black as well. The creation god looked at him with a confusion and terror. “What are you?” He asked as the man looked at him opening his eyes after cleansing himself. “I am the one who balances light and darkness, who controls the flow of chaos in the world.” He said as his power started to overflow and make his body begin to crack and crumble. “I am the god of chaos and the one who will make the ultimate sacrifice to finally put you down and end this war!”
