You two really are the pinnacle of "go to" car reviews. For 40 years I have read about, purchased, sold, driven, reviewed, researched and talked about vehicles and you two just give the honest and straightforward approach any potential buyer would be needing to make an informed decision. It really takes away a lot of preliminary legwork and "weeding through" of the volume of choices one has in making a somewhat expensive and important purchase. Well done you two. The 2021 Range Rover had the old "in control" system which was challenged. The New Rovers have the brand ne "Pivi Pro Infotainment" system that is light years ahead of the old system and works as fast as a smart phone.

I was driving behind one yesterday and it’s really nice. But I think they have missed the market. Pricing this at $200k at a time when finance rates in Canada are pushing 10% makes this tough to sell as widely as they have in the past. Hey RR - read the news.

Incredibly beautiful and luxurious SUV but reliability issues too hard to ignore. Fix it and then this would be unstoppable.

If I was considering something other than the Range it would be the BMW X7.

Great video. The 2023 will be my 9th Rover and I buy them because of their reliability and because it’s the only luxury full size SUV.

What if all front part was light lines like the lower front part.

How are they allowed to do the black taillights in Canada? I thought those are illegal.

Problem is they are big fuel guzzlers and with climate warming are a NO GO...i got rid of my 3L diesel for that reason alone. It amazes me how these cars are actually allowed to be produced knowing their impact on climate. If the next generation buy them they will be driving them to their graves.

If the GLE and X5 are compatible to the full size Range Rover then where do you place the GLS and X7 which are priced more comparatively ?

As far as we know, it didn’t breakdown during this review. Consumer Reports puts this brand at the bottom of the list for reliability. 😅

Enjoyed your your video. When I purchased my range, with my criteria in mind, I believe there are only really two options. Lexus gx 470/lx models and the Mercedes G wagon. Although the ones presented are nice, they lack capability if one WANTED to do certain things. As I told my friend, who owns a BMW X5. My car can go everywhere yours does, but you can’t go everywhere I can go. Yes, there are Jeeps and Toyota out there that are highly capable 4x4, but I argue none will do it in the comfort of range. Once again, enjoyed the video.

Daddy here; just thought I’d share some facts. She is a sweet gal and loves to take me for a ride but she is just not all that dependable. When I tell her to slow down she screams ( noisy brake pedal), I ask for a massage and she sometimes complies ( rear massage not working and lights on 2 massage buttons not working). I question her desire for a monogamous relationship ( door sensor lock on driver door not working, I’m worried someone will ride her away). I make a simple request and she takes forever to get back to me (super laggy touch screens).
We have a bumpy relationship ( air suspension is embarrassingly noisy, had it “fixed” but now back at it again),
A couple days ago she started to wink at passersby and now she has gone completely blind in her right eye ( front passenger headlight malfunction, no signals no light) …..
Anyways, I’m done entertaining myself…. Just dropped off the vehicle yet again for above issues. We plan our “spa days for her when I’m going to be out of town and she can stay at the dealership for a week to get “fixed” .
Luckily under extended Land Rover warranty still.

Yes, we repeat Range Rover buyers are a cult with self sadistic tendencies. When they work it’s the most beautiful and joyful vehicle. We have owned many. You definitely need a second car for down days errrr down weeks.
Word of advice , if repair costs are going to be an issue don’t try and date these vehicles they will bleed you til there’s nothing left to give. Make sure you have warranty!!! If you can’t control yourself and you must have a Range Rover definitely get an extended warranty on a CPO to save yourself and everyone else around you so they don’t have to listen to your incessant complaining about the reliability.
