What Was Overwatch Like 7 YEARS AGO

Actually always thought the defence cat made sense. For example torb and bastion definetly functioned differently from the classic dps.

Overwatch was funi may have played it only 3 years ago but still it was all fun hanamura and every map was carefully designed to match what we would see in the cenematics
But it all got ruined after microsoft bought the game all of the desappointments were a result of microsoft making the choices

So one time the first time I ever played I got 5 kill with Bation and got potg I was soooooooo happy and over watch 2 honestly ruined the game because of the new abilities and p2w things

The reason i dont play ow 2 is , i miss the lootboxes where you could actually play and get skins better than nowa days where you are forced to pay 20 Bucks for a skin -.- Yeah lootboxes you could hav e luck or get nothing but the joy of opening them is better than this season pass, where you only get good stuff if you pay -.-

i started playing overwatch on my brothers xbox in 2017 when i was only 8. i remember how, even though i was really bad, i loved the game so much that i begged my grandparents for my own xbox & overwatch copy. overwatch was such a big part of my elementary school years, i still love playing it today, but it will never be the same as when i first found it

While I will admit that 2cp was bad, I did actually enjoy them during my time with Overwatch 1. And I have many fond memories of playing maps like Anubis and Volskaya Industries.

Back then the most requested game by females of all time was overwatch 1 and I never got to play it. I've only played overwatch 2. Just seeing so many videos on OW1, I knew I missed the opportunity on a gem. I played paladins for 5 years, and only quit that game in 2022 Oct because it's riddled with bugs. Going to OW2 from paladins, the transition wasn't to hard, but the aim was difficult to get used, took me a whole year until I got used to the OW2 aim on controller. And yes I have that mythic genji skin. But I just love the armor, shield and overhealth system. Yeah even OW2 in it's rough state, it's miles better than paladins. The biggest difference is custom games and OW2 Spectate feature actually works unlike paladins. Playing OW2 for a year now, the game made some great improvements. The only thing they need to do, is add a real pve instead of the trash we got, tank role needs a rework. Fix the ranking system in OW2. Besides that, for a free game, it's one of the best there is.

I miss loot boxes now I have to pay money

2cp is far better than this shitty robot pushing a wall, at least it would've been nice to choose the gamemode in ranked

Bro why do the current overwatch heroes look like they lack detail compared to the overwatch 1 heroes where they had so much more detail then what they do now

OW1 was great, didn’t play in 2016 but I did start in 2018 and I tell ya that was awesome. Still remember booting up the game for the first time, it was magical tbh. Now I just feel like I opened “Take My Money THE GAME”

I honestly miss the attack/defense DPS feature, the team tips, 2CP, the medals and the endorsement cards. Unpopular opinion for sure, but I wish they were back in some way.

And of course I miss SO many other features! But those that I mentioned aren't really talked aboit.

Came to OW2 after a big break from OW1. This video was so nostalgic and made me think how much older I am now. Also I did not realise they took out 2cp just like that. I lowkey miss Volskaya or Temple.
