I must've seen this scene on TV when it was broadcast say... about 40 years ago. Dated or not, this song and scene... I still find very moving. 🥲
Thank you for sharing this ❤️
Sadly on 3rd September 1982, aged 55, Michael died at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, after a two-year battle with cancer. A memorial service will was held at Pasadena's American Academy of Dramatic Arts. your spirit lives on RIP XXX

ОтветитьSaw them live at the Birmingham NEC UK in Jan1983. Christmas present from my parents. These guys were really talented, one of the best shows i've ever been to. We all cried when they sang this song. Pure magic

ОтветитьWhat a total load of crap.
ОтветитьOver 40 years later and it's still as powerful as the day it first aired.
ОтветитьAmazing how a melody with powerful lyrics and individual voices can turn heads and fill hearts with emotion and soul ❤🎉 This is very unique and a classic !👌
ОтветитьLove this song
ОтветитьAww i loved fame and can remember this very clip. You can clearly see him looking so proud but dying at the same time. Brilliantly wrote before the Internet wasn't even thought of..and people were a lot kinder to one another. I tell my children things from the 70s 80s and they look at me as if i just fell from mars 😂
ОтветитьFun fact: O.J Simpson was considered for the role as Othello
ОтветитьLove this song❤❤❤
