I agree when they say its more difficult to be young today than then because all young people these days worries about everything looks, career etc it feel like young people dont even wanna hang around with each other anymore so its sad that it has become more difficult these days but there is nothing we can do about it no matter what we try. And when some people say the world has become a better place but I would not say that I think the world has become crazy and lonely 😬

War Drafts in 1940s and 1960s...not now. And 1950s war. It was worse then.

I would tell my younger self to take off and get out of the town where I grew up and travel Europe and never come back. And do not accept an engagement ring when you had already decided you would wait until you were older to get married. Because it will ruin your life and you will lose all your dreams. And then you will get left behind anyway as many people do. And you will be older and not be able to do the things you wanted to do when you were younger …. Car accidents, injuries and trauma it all gets in the way …..these two seem to be in better shape than I am and they are almost 40 years older than I am.

Note how he was holding her hand & even stroking it… speaks so much of the love he has for her… touched.

These two are thoughtful, wonderful people. My favorite advice is "Try to be as positive as you can, because tomorrow's going to be a better day unless you make it worse day."

I work with the older folks and they’re always so interesting to talk to I sometimes get more from a conversation from them then from people my own age. Mad respect if you can have an enduring love that last a lifetime with unconditional love and respect. I don’t think it’s easy to come by especially in this generation where ur easily replaced 😢I disagree with it being harder now than back then .
