Vostok like the watch brand? 😂they're great watches too
Ответитьwhy does he keep referring to him as “they”
ОтветитьDue to work, I once had to attend the Blender conference (I say had but I was really excited for it), I met Roosendal and all. Amazing to hear from that little program, not so little anymore. I was programming a script for Blender, let's say, kind of pushing the limits of what Blender allowed for (as a program, not legally haha), and was an exciting project. Got to tinker with the program as well, and it was very intuitive, specially when they changed the interface.
Ответитьyeaaaaah... I mean, by the time this game comes out as an alpha or beta, it will already be super outdated... I mean it already looks super last gen and questionable...And from what I've played, it's extremely lackluster. To make things worse, you can play Stalker Gamma for free which looks and plays 10x better. And this is basically it, without 95% of the content and only human AI enemies... or if it's a small extraction, why just not play EFT... I don't understand this project.. kind a waste of time... too ambitious for a small team ( if there is any ).
ОтветитьHe really needs to just make his own game other than using all the assets of tarkov. It's literally just trying to bait EFT owners for cash with the exact same reload animations and textures. I want new stuff not the same old stuff I've seen the last 5 years even if this is a "single-player" knockoff. Get creative.
ОтветитьImpressed by this "solo" developer in the first sentence. "They" have switched in the sentence right after. This world is slowly but surely decaying into lunacy.
ОтветитьTarkov. 😊
Ответитьboring game demo looked so scuffed and awefull single player trash
ОтветитьGodot really has proven since the 4.0 update that it can compete with the other 3 main engines. It's only going to get better from here on out. The community behind Godot is really inspiring and can't wait to see what's next for the engine!
ОтветитьLoving the updated DEMO! Can't wait until a full release is ready!!!
ОтветитьI believe he was in the army before this
ОтветитьLETS GO ANOTHER GAME ON GODOT!!! welcome community addition
Ответитьbeen following the game since the start, its such a easy day 1 buy
ОтветитьI mean it looks fine.
ОтветитьThis man is going on to big things. I played the unity version and it did look much better honestly, but i fully support this move and respect the hell out of the dev
Ответитьits funny how fps is always the same not a single jitter :D
ОтветитьWill literally use any engine other than Unreal for some reason..
Ответитьthe graphics is still shit
ОтветитьI also have been looking at Blender I switched software around 2.6 i currently use Modo but due to the foundry buying modo development on it slowed almost to a halt, because of this Ive been eyeing Blender again.
only problem when it comes to Modeling Modo is The best out there.
only 600 hours? that's like, less than a month.
Ответитьi subscride to his patreon just to help him hopefully make the game fully. i wish more people would subscribe.
Ответитьunity is such a trash engine, to this day i laugh at people who think tarkov will ever hit full release or the game they originally promised. It wont, the engine limitations from unity are hilariously bad. it takes BSG around 9-12 months to develop 1//4 of a map and add a gun. They cant add a decent audio engine to the game because unity doesnt work with any of the good ones.
ОтветитьSo happy more people are using Godot. I randomly picked it up after messing with other engines for a while and fell in love. Open source is a godsend.
Ответитьwhy not just play stalker gamma?
Ответитьfk unity
ОтветитьThis kind of thing still blows my mind. I've watched people throwing money at this while the guy kind of leisurely darts about. I know of like 10 assets that could be used in Unity to get this exact type of experience functioning in 2 weeks. I built something for a client that is nearly identical to all that he has made over the last year+, in about 2 weeks from a few assets he bought. On top of all that, he just kind of knee-jerk reacted to an huge misstep by Unity that was without a doubt bound for reversal, and wasted more time making no forward progress; all the while burning through funding. I've heard people say, "Oh combining tons of assets leads to coding nightmares", and that's just not true. I've been coding for 25 years now, working commercially, independently and privately, and in all that time I've never ran into anything that couldn't be resolved, reasonably, over time with strategic refactoring.
I wish he had really considered that, grabbed a few quality assets, refactored them into a coherent coding structuring, and started using the money to actually move forward instead of using it to make what essentially amounts to a market-standard FPS Kit.
Appreciate you giving the spotlight to small game devs. Thanks for your community service
Ответитьshout out to the Dev for working hard on this.
ОтветитьI guess the saying "Those who can't do, teach" DEFINITELY DOESN'T apply to this guy
ОтветитьI would love to see Godot or any other open source become a real option in the future. I dont even use Mia or 3ds, Blender is that good.
ОтветитьWhen a sjngle devs work is more imoressive than AAA studio game😂😂😂
Ответитьnot tarkov, its Dayz
Ответитьanother scam
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьPlaying it on Steam Deck and it plays and runs amazing
ОтветитьHe jumped guns too fast
ОтветитьI've been following this game on patreon since around the first announcement trailer. It's been very interesting following the project as the developer often posts detailed updates on the progress of the game. and Especially following the porting process. The dev is very open about every step of development and I think this game deserves more publicity. I'm very excited to see what public demo 2 will bring. And how it will play once more gameplay loops and mechanics are implemented.
ОтветитьThiis guy are wild
Ответитьi feel like people doing shit for sptaki or single player tarkov should dev for this dude...
seeing some tarkov mods are amazing.
I stopped putting my faith in upcoming games developed by one dev. It always becomes a half baked clone
ОтветитьYou can definitely see the graphic downguard, but I don't blame the dev one bit. I'll take better gameplay over pretty lighting any day
ОтветитьFrom my understanding, Blender isn't being used by large vfx studios because of the way their open source licensing works. Their license requires that whatever you create also be open source, but with large studio projects all being under tight NDAs this doesn't work.
ОтветитьUnity does more than just being a game engine.
Anyone who switches just because there is a little pricing change isn't really into game dev.
what's even cooler is that I was able to easily decompile the whole demo and can use the project file as a perfect guidebook to best practices, organisation, certain techniques, and HOW TO MAKE U.I. THAT DOESN'T SUCK HOLY SHIT FINALLY
ОтветитьGame looks great 😊 would love to play it on my PC
ОтветитьSooo nice!
This game will fix all things I dislike about Stalker and Tarkov!
I wish the Dev would also implement DayZ health system, then it's PERFECT <3
Impressive, I wonder if blender and godot join forces😮
