Jesslyn Cheryl Handoko, F Liszt, Bagatelle

Jesslyn Cheryl Handoko was born in Surabaya in 2006. Attending as a 5th grader at Cita Hati Elementary School, her academic achievements include Outstanding Student, English Profiency, and Art awards throughout the years. Many of her mentors were Jaya Suprana, Steven Spooner, Joseph Anton, Nan Hee Kim, Aryo Wicaksono, and Ananda Sukarlan. In 2016, she was awarded as the 1st winner of SME Piano Competition, 1st winner of Victory Open Piano Competition, and 1st winner of Ananda Sukarlan Award International Piano Competition. In the previous year, she was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall, New York for The Indonesia Pusaka Recital. In 2014, she made her debut as a soloist for playing Mikolaj Gorecki's Concerto and was subsequently given the Indonesia's Record from Museum Rekor Dunia Indonesia (MURI). In 2012, she won the 1st prize American Protege Talent Piano Competition as well as the title of Judges Distinction Award for her piano solo and trio along with her musical sisters. At 6 years old, she took part at The 13th Intensive Music Course and Festival from Chopin to Gorecki in Warsaw, Poland, and performed at Chopin University Grand Concert Hall.
In 2009, she was the youngest 1st winner of Wisma Music Galaxy International Open Piano Competition.
