As soon as they started watching Hilary Hahn, I knew… 😂 they were about to watch the whole thing.
ОтветитьThe thing is Nessun Norma actually makes hairs stand up on my neck EVERY time.oh and Callas. Oh and Agerich. Oh and HILARY. yikes. Longest I’ve ever seen you guys speechless. She’s IN-CRED_I-BLE
ОтветитьHilary Han articulates like an absolute boss. She sharpens every note like she wants it to cut into your brain.
ОтветитьOn the piano I would put Valentina Lisitsa playing the 3rd mov of the moonlight sonata by beethoven that video has more than 60 million of views 🫣
ОтветитьI am responsible for many of the views on Yo Yo Ma's Cello Suite. I play it over and over, even though it brings me to tears every time. Same with Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma.
ОтветитьQue grande Martha Algerich💙🤍💙
ОтветитьThe reason why Hilary han’s video view never drop off is because once you’ve started, you cant stop listening.
Ответитьlang lang orange
ОтветитьHillary makes me puke 🤢 that’s how scary good she is. In the best possible way I don’t know if I’m puking from inadequacy or from astonishment but she is very intimidating!
ОтветитьYou guys should do a video on Dimash.
ОтветитьU guys should really check out Gyorgy Cziffra
Edit: this is for the piano gang 😃
That's a shame about Yuja Wang. Here playing is phenomenal! She did the best job I've ever heard on Rachmaninoff's piano concerto number three. I wish I could remember which orchestra it was. She is currently my favorite musician living.
ОтветитьI am new to the channel and don't know much about classical music, but Hillary Hahn's video make me cry, I was captivated ❤
ОтветитьOkay, re listening to more singers: Peter Mattei and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau.
ОтветитьTry collabing with marcin next bass done guitar next
Ответитьwatched a mcD commercial before this video saying everything is better with bbq sauce. I dont like bbq sauce.
btw as always great video. love how positive yous always are and what you do is good for society.
I don't know why but it was just so comforting to watch Beethoven Concerto with you
ОтветитьI’m a cellist and that Bach piece will never not hit
ОтветитьI incorrectly guessed Saint-Saëns' "The Swan" for Yo-Yo Ma's most viewed video just because I watch it over and over. It's my favorite. ❤
ОтветитьYuja Wang 15m views from old men who didn't notice the piano.
ОтветитьThank you for another great video 😊 🎉
Hilary Hahn's Beethoven is phenomenal ❤🎻
Very informative video now I know what to listen to which is The Cello masterpiece
Ответитьbret and eddy sees hillary. BREATHING INTENSIFIES
ОтветитьI feel the same when listening to Hilary Hahn ✨ speechless
ОтветитьYeah, as an Italian, I can say that Pavarotti was probably the greatest loss in opera history
ОтветитьGuys I am so happy that I found you on the net. I listen and watch more and more ofyour videos and doing that helps me to understand music better because I see your professional reaction to things that I would not pay attention to. One thing bothers me though. For people who master the sounds all your life, you are surprisingly neglectful to the sounds of your own speech. You eathalph of what you say, neglect phonetics and seemingly care not to be understood by us, your audience. You rob us of the fine points in your observation andmusical thinking, which are so valuable. And the more interested and involved you are, the more unintelligible your speech become. I was born in St.Petersburg, Russia and although I never had any musical education (I am a geologist and mathematician), my teachers always said that we think the way we talk and always used as an example the great musicians like Heifetz. If you watch him talking in his master class videos, you would agree that his talking and his playing has similar structural motif - nothing is lost, everything is properly articulated and emphasized. Its up to you, of course, but you will get much more subscribers if you let us understand what it is, you are, actually, saying. All the best.
ОтветитьPavarotti really the GOAT huh
ОтветитьHilary’s performance doesnt even sound like 2 violins anymore, its more like 3 💀👏
ОтветитьPavarotti wooo when he hits those notes he brings me to tears 😭
ОтветитьThere's a video of Mari Samuelsen (Violin) on YT called "Mari Samuelsen: Vivaldi - "Summer" from Four Seasons". It was posted 13 years ago but it has 38 million views, so it should have qualified into this one even.
ОтветитьHow can't they know who Maria Callas is?
The most famous female opera singer of all time O_o (among the, at least)
Guys you have to get on your Maria Callas research- shes tattoed on my body for a reason
ОтветитьI think part of the views of Nessun Dorma (the Pavarotti one) are mine, I’ve watched that recording too many times😅 and cry every time.
ОтветитьWhat about Yunchan Lim Rach 3? So iconic
ОтветитьPavarotti...unmatched
ОтветитьChopin told his students to go hear opera singers
ОтветитьThe HIlary Hahn is totally worth it. I saw her live 3 weeks ago. You can tell (you've met her) she is also a real, regular human being. Same with Yo Yo Ma (though I haven't see him live but living near Tanglewood could probably drive by his house)
ОтветитьOpera gang glad we had two represented! <3
ОтветитьYou forgot 60 MILLION views for VALENTINA LISITSA!!
ОтветитьHilary Hahns playing of the cadenza is exactly what Yehudi Menuhin named "playing with Gods breathe" in utmost perfection
ОтветитьI'm just starting to watch this video. I bet they don't talk about classical guitar
ОтветитьThe fact that twosetviolin called Pavarotti's performance with James Brown a pop song, is just another example of their elitarism.
ОтветитьWhen it's violin you stop talking!
