Anyone paying over MSRP for Z06s is a fool
ОтветитьYou can buy C8 at a discount off MSRP. Do you do your research before posting videos?
ОтветитьAustin do you know what spec/build you would go with on the ZR1, and would you be willing to share those details?
ОтветитьZ06 at 10k under now just not in California
ОтветитьI live near a dealership that for the most part sticks with MSRP. They have Stingrays and Z06. They also get ERays. None of them in stock. Special orders.
ОтветитьI’d wait until at least 2nd year production for a ZR1.
Just imagine if they decide to add AWD, which would make sense for a 1,046 hp Corvette.
Second, our economy has been teetering on a recession, if not worst, prices will adjust.
Get delivery at corvette place
ОтветитьYeah that’s the thing with the dealerships, they may all vary slightly got to talk to different ones
ОтветитьBuyers are losing buying power? Says who?
Also for the ordering process…. Chevrolet is following toyotas model (and toyota is doing pretty good last time i checked.) remember, the dealers have been making all the money on steep markups - not the manufacturer. Using toyotas model p, Chevrolet should be able to increase productivity and thus pick up additional profit as well.
The car market is crashing and these greedy dealers are gonna have cars on there lots for a long time. Good luck with ur buying journey man.
ОтветитьUnless you are purchasing with pocket change relative to your financials you are insane buying a car like this that far over MSRP. A GM product at that. Craziness.
ОтветитьThese dealerships can all kick rocks!
ОтветитьIf it was me id just wait to get ZR1 when the greed is gone.
Unless i found a deal on one of course. Idk why GM ford or whatever allows these dealers to operate like they do. Iv said it before ill say it again its time manufacturers drop all there dealers buy direct. Have serviced garages with a few cars maybe to test drive oder ur car have it delivered to ur home or whatever.
TBD = we have to see what everyone else is marking up and we'll do likewise. TBD = as much as we can get you to pay.
ОтветитьGM should do what Tesla is doing with their online ordering process. GM/Chevrolet gets all the profits, and the dealers gets all the losses.
ОтветитьI find it very hard to believe that gm will not allow ppl to spec a car that they will be charging over 200k for! Dumb!
ОтветитьI bet when vin # is auctioned off Hendrix motor sports buys it he loves helping the fundraiser in auction a don't Care how much it will cost he has bought the ç8 vin 1 ç8 z06 Vin one he just needs 2 for collecting
Ответить🖕Chevrolet
ОтветитьI'm in Denver and got one for a little over MSRP and can order to my spec.
Ответитьlol you said Mustang GTD price, that car ain’t worth that price either 😂🤣😂
ОтветитьThese dealers are going to ultimately destroy themselves and eventually you will buy direct…
ОтветитьSince you made multiple videos complaining about not being able to get the Corvette Carbon Fiber Wheels fixed, you go to the bottom of the list!
ОтветитьThere's idiots in every crowd. Sadly if that's the way California dealers are doing it customers should boycott California dealers & stick them with a buttload of ZR1's
ОтветитьThose type of markup are and should be criminal
ОтветитьWhat they need to do is do away with Greedy dealerships period and do direct buyers
ОтветитьWhy does GM even bother? These cars are so out of reach for regular folk. It should be a crime to do markups.
ОтветитьGM should learn how to control their greedy dealers. Take away all their allocations when gouging. But on the other hand GM will probably go after the customers again rather than the greedy dealers. Real kick in the ass for the corvette enthusiast.
ОтветитьJust get one outside of CA. The markups will be much less. I bought my Z06 in Utah for 10k over. That being said I’m #1 on list in a another state because I’m a fleet buyer for my business so they gave me priority as an existing customer. I will be able to spec it myself and won’t have a markup. Was told they will only make 4k of them so I’m sure there will be a mark up on most and resale market will still be above msrp for a couple years. Just don’t by specialty cars in CA. Ram dealers wanted 20k+ markups for TRX. Bought mine from South Carolina for 6k over and just shipped it.
ОтветитьIt’s all about the dealerships!!! There are some great dealers, just hard to find these days. I know a guy 🤷♂️🤦♂️😂🏁
ОтветитьGreat video Austin for me if I cant spec my 300K ZR1 it's a deal breaker how dumb of them to do this to there Corvette customers. People who are buying this type of car from Chevy should be treated much better. There are alot of other super nice cars in that price range people will go elsewhere with there money.
ОтветитьHow many ZR1 can GM produce?
ОтветитьThis is unacceptable. I need to spec my car!
ОтветитьNo spec? What???
ОтветитьAnd this is why manufactures want to go to direct sales… shitting on customers like this makes people walk away
ОтветитьIf I can't spec it to my liking. I would NOT buy it ... End of story...
ОтветитьNot paying anything over 185k for a zr1 maybe 10-15 over with my credit union at 2% soo if I got to wait 2 years I will
Ответить$80k over? 😂 and I thought the Cyberyuck guys were nuts.
ОтветитьYou can expect to pay $400K+ MSRP will be $250K+
ОтветитьI though GM was going to take allocations away from dealers that gouge and markup vehicles above MSRP
ОтветитьWow that is shocking! I hope the real legit dealers like Macmulkin will approach their former Z06 customers first and allow us to spec.
ОтветитьLooks like Demon 170 crap all over again.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьDo a review of Silverado ZR2 6.2 liter said to be akin to a raptor. It is a beast.
ОтветитьAdd a powerful electric motor to the front wheels and this car will be the best ever made.
Ответить200,000 or more & you can't spec it?? I guess they don't want to sell a lot of them.
ОтветитьSo dealers are auctioneers with a reserve everytime a new Vette model comes along. Well, its you people with money falling out of your pockets that pay way over MSRP so why wouldn't they do that. The not be able to spec it gets me though. A Porche GT3 is sounding better and better. Other than the new ZR1 there is no shortage of C8 Vettes whatsoever. I look at Vettes for sale almost daily. The prices are all over the map and the trim levels are not even a factor. I cant comprehend why a C7 GS is the same price as a C7 Z06 though. That is crazy.
ОтветитьI bought a number of cars like this when I was a young man but these kind of car weren’t a good fit for me I just don’t like to stand out nor show off. After I realized this I would purchase nice cars but nothing that wouldn’t blend in
ОтветитьOne reason why people continue to buy European cars. Corvette should have separated from Chevy with the C8 and become its own brand like Porsche
ОтветитьOff the grid reading comments online, hmmm
ОтветитьDealers are still making up Z06's? I can walk into a number of Chevy dealers here in Ontario, Canada and pick up a in stock Z06 at sticker and theres no shortage of them!
Ответить
