The fact that Charlotte's voice could even be heard with, let alone above Jonathans is a testament to how very good she is. She is an exceptional operatic singer and it is unfair to judge her against him. She got where she is due to natural talent and a lot of hard work. He is just a freak of nature and clearly autistic. He simply would not have even made it onto the stage at that first audition without her.

How utterly rude and classless the UK audience was the first time Jonathan sang! And Simon!! everyone could hear his words “ when you thought it couldn’t get any worse” what an a hole. I’m glad that Jonathan went on to show everyone that he was a natural superstar.

I understood Simon's 1st negative critique of Charlotte; he knows the music biz and their styles don't naturally fit. But she audibly projected far better this time and it clearly improved the combo. In the end they still split to solo careers (he to clasical, she to pop), but they learned from and supported each other and stay friends.
