I'm late but, VA Sally Amaki was born and raised it the US. She moved to Japan as an adult to learn Japanese. She become an Idol and a voice actor in both Japanese and English. She voice Carol in Tomo-Chan is a Girl for both Eng and JP. She's also in Overwatch

my favorite anime as far as scripting and voice acting goes might be Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad. watching it later on when I got older, i realized how special it is. There are two characters that spent a lot of time in America and so there is a lot of English and Japanese language play. its fun... plus i love the story. need to read the manga still
