Enjoyable but I CRINGE every time there's a reference to 'feminine wiles' and that not having sex until marriage is somehow sneaky. Elizabeth Woodville using her charms to get favours for her family? You mean they had a good marriage and he wanted to help his in laws move up in the world?

Aah! Such disappointment! Here is a slew of vids I want to watch but the voice is just too much. It's OK for other content but not history. Gareth, do the honours would you dear chap?

I love Anne Boleyn! She is to be admired for her courage and bravery having no friends at court, helping the Bible be available on English, the Universities, and facing down enemies even while facing her own death. She waited 7 years.. all the while being called a homewrecker snd harlot… while Jane Seymour took Henry away while he was married to Anne.. and no one EVER called HER concubine, homewrecker, etc…. Such HYPOCRISY. I hate Jane Seymour. Im glad she never got a coronation, she did NOT deserve it. Anne’s coronation was rightly deserved fir putting up with stress and abuse for 7 years. Her taste snd style can still be appreciated at Hampton Court. She was bright, sophisticated, charismatic charitable… a women self-made.. no silver spoon like Catherine… She is one of a kind…. And how wonderful that Elizabeth I wore a pic of her Mother. ❤️❤️

Boudicca was a great woman who challenged Rome and nearly won. Her rebellion panicked Nero who sought to evacuate Britain.

It was the steely resolve of Suetonius Paulinus which saved the day. After the victory by the Romans, the Iceni people were ruthlessly purged and their way of life dismantled.

The Druids,(the glue which held the Iceni people together-according to Tacitus) were discouraged from carrying out their rites or mystical duties.

By choosing death on her own terms,(poison),rather than capture and death at the hands of the Roman occupiers, Boudicca became a martyr and an icon of resistance.

✨ feel fREE to explain it to me like i'm 3

Hello.. welp help yes you - y'all out there who are my savage "nerd" squad knowing.. things 💀.
I need to know, too as a writer ! Medieval Times? haha it's for 1 of my books. Kingdoms how do they work? How can my queen rule over 7 Kingdoms at the same time ? So far i've come to the conclusion that different houses rule in the name of their Queen/King right? +I've also learned Kingdoms basically mean "territory" .. true?
Which tells me Kingdoms doesn't always necessary have to be countries.. more like country pieces yes? Please help. Youʼd rule my day <3 x

* If wished i'm mentioning you in my Book dedications :) . to show my gratitude + i feel like this 7 Kingdoms / 1 queen situation to be a MAJOR factor i'm still stuck into reality /researching i mean.

~ Tysm ,everyone's so appreciated !

If we were speaking of a man who was accomplished, wise and loved we would place the word GREAT in his name. This is the word that should be placed on her name ‘Eleanor the Great of Aquitaine’. A woman possesses allure, guile and beauty and does not wield it to her advantage is a foolish woman.

I’m so sorry but the forced narration of this is so unnatural and off putting. I don’t know how anyone can find it soothing it’s so abrupt and jarring in every sentence, I can’t even hear the story I can only hear the fake accent and obvious effort to sound a certain way. I’m sure the narrator had a sore throat from all the over acting.
